ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)は16日、ユーロ2024のドイツ代表の候補メンバー27名を発表した。ユリアン・ナーゲルスマン監督が率いるドイツ代表。今回のユーロは開催国として戦うこととなる。
2014年のブラジル・ワールドカップ(W杯)で優勝も、2018年のロシア大会、2022年のカタール大会ではグループステージ敗退という屈辱を味わうことに。さらに、ハンジ・フリック監督が9月に日本代表に敗れたことを受けて解任。ナーゲルスマン監督が就任していた。
大会を盛り上げる意図もあり、ドイツ代表はSNSやテレビ、ラジオ、インフルエンサーなどを使って小出しにメンバー発表をしていた中、27名のメンバーが正式に発表された。

ナーゲルスマン監督の右腕、ドイツ代表退任決定のワグナー氏が古巣からのオファーに断り
ドイツ代表でユリアン・ナーゲルスマン監督のアシスタントコーチを務めているサンドロ・ワグナー氏(37)だが、ブンデスリーガクラブからのオファーを断ったという。 現役時代はバイエルンやブレーメン、ホッフェンハイム、ヘルタ・ベルリンなどでプレー。ドイツ代表としてもプレーした。 引退後に指導者となり、ハンジ・フリック監督(現:バルセロナ監督)の下でドイツ代表のアシスタントコーチに就任。その後、ホッフェンハイム時代に指導を受けたナーゲルスマン監督の右腕となった。 そのワグナー氏だが、6月に行われるUEFAネーションズリーグを持ってドイツ代表から退任する意向を示しており、来シーズンに向けての去就が注目されていた。 ドイツ『スカイ・スポーツ』によると、古巣でもあるホッフェンハイムはクリスティアン・イルザー監督との別れを考えており、後任にワグナー氏を検討していたとのこと。しかし、古巣からのオファーには断りを入れたという。 また、ワグナー氏には他のブンデスリーガ2クラブからも関心があるとのこと。いずれにしても、今夏のワグナー氏の去就には注目が集まりそうだ。 2025.05.08 23:10 Thu

W杯で日本と対戦するドイツ代表の呼称「ディー・マンシャフト」が廃止に…7月末に結論
カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、日本代表とも対戦するドイツ代表だが、その“愛称”について議論がなされている。 2014年のブラジルW杯では優勝を果たしているドイツ代表。チームの愛称として「Die Mannschaft(ディー・マンシャフト)」が採用されている。 これはW杯制覇後の2015年にドイツ代表のマネージャーを務めるオリバー・ビアホフ氏が呼称として導入したもの。意味は「これがチームだ」というものだが、廃止の方向で話が進んでいる。 ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)のベルント・ノイエンドルフ会長は、この呼称について終わる可能性があることを20日にコメント。7月末に結論を出すという。 「終わりが来る。7月末に責任機関の会合が開かれ、決定が確実に下される。終わりのない話には興味がない」 「今回の定性調査では、我々のイメージを固め、意見をまとめることができるはずだ。ただ、調査に依存することはない」 この言葉の生みの親とも言われるビアホフ氏は「我慢すれば良い」と会長の決定を受け入れることを示唆。日本と対戦するときにはもう使われない愛称となっていそうだ。 2022.06.21 14:30 Tue

29歳で引退した元W杯王者の転身が話題!ほぼ裸で雪山に登頂、自分の人生を見直すきっかけに
