ドイツ代表落選の危機にあるゴレツカ、ユーロ出場に熱い想い「どんな役割でも引き受ける」

ユーロ出場目指すゴレツカ

バイエルンのドイツ代表MFレオン・ゴレツカが自国開催のユーロ出場を諦めていない。ドイツ『スカイ・スポーツ』が伝えた。

バイエルンだけでなく、ドイツ代表でも長らく中盤の主力として活躍を続けているゴレツカ。代表指揮官がユリアン・ナーゲルスマン監督に代わってからも、昨年10月と11月の親善試合で全4試合に出場したが、今年3月の代表活動では招集メンバーから漏れていた。

ゴレツカがポジションを争う守備的MFでは、レアル・マドリーのMFトニ・クロースが代表復帰を果たしており、3月の代表戦ではレバークーゼンのMFロバート・アンドリッヒが相方役に。その他、ブライトン&ホーブ・アルビオンのMFパスカル・グロスやシュツットガルトのDFヴァルデマール・アントンもライバルで、バルセロナのMFイルカイ・ギュンドアンも下がり目の位置でプレーする可能性がある。

現在ゴレツカは今夏のユーロ出場が危うい状況にあり、ナーゲルスマン監督もその事実を認めているとのこと。チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)準決勝1stレグでレアル・マドリーと戦った4月30日の夜、この29歳はユーロ出場に向けた強い想いを『スカイ・スポーツ』にぶつけている。

「第一に、監督が僕の招集を決めなければならない。求められるならどんな役割でも引き受けるつもりだ。それは僕にとって問題ではない。だから僕はこのことについてまだコメントしていなかったんだ」

「正直なところ、それはユリアンの考えではないと思う。なぜなら僕はバイエルンで彼の下でプレーしていた時、その点において何の問題もなく、いつでもチームを助ける準備ができていることを示していたからね」

なんとしてでもドイツ代表としてユーロを戦いたいゴレツカは、シーズンの残りの試合で勝負をかけるつもりとのこと。一方、ナーゲルスマン監督との直接の話し合いも希望している。

「自分の能力を最大限に発揮するしかない。パフォーマンスで自らをアピールするのが僕の仕事だ」

批判も受けたドイツ代表ユニフォームに問題…ナチスの「SS」に類似との指摘を受け「4」のフォントを変更、アディダスは購入中止に

東京五輪での初勝利後にプロポーズ! ドイツ代表FWクルーゼ「僕の妻になってくれますか?」
