ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)は16日、ユーロ2024のドイツ代表の候補メンバー27名を発表した。ユリアン・ナーゲルスマン監督が率いるドイツ代表。今回のユーロは開催国として戦うこととなる。
2014年のブラジル・ワールドカップ(W杯)で優勝も、2018年のロシア大会、2022年のカタール大会ではグループステージ敗退という屈辱を味わうことに。さらに、ハンジ・フリック監督が9月に日本代表に敗れたことを受けて解任。ナーゲルスマン監督が就任していた。
大会を盛り上げる意図もあり、ドイツ代表はSNSやテレビ、ラジオ、インフルエンサーなどを使って小出しにメンバー発表をしていた中、27名のメンバーが正式に発表された。

トッテナム復帰願望語ったポチェッティーノ監督、ただし今夏の実現は望み薄?
トッテナム復帰の期待も持たれるアメリカ代表指揮官のマウリシオ・ポチェッティーノ監督だが、実現には高いハードルがあるようだ。 ポチェッティーノ監督は、2014年から2019年までトッテナムを指揮。在任期間中、タイトル獲得を実現することはできなかったが、2018-19シーズンにはクラブを史上初のチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)決勝へ導くなど、期待の持てるチーム作りを行なっていた。 ポチェッティーノ監督が去ってからのトッテナムは、ジョゼ・モウリーニョ、ヌーノ・エスピリト・サント、アントニオ・コンテら名うての監督たちが就任してきたが、いずれも長期政権とはならず。2023年夏に就任したアンジェ・ポステコグルー監督も、2シーズン目を迎えた今季はプレミアリーグで14位に沈む大不振に陥り、立場は危うくなっている。 こうした中で、先週ポチェッティーノ監督はイギリス『スカイ・スポーツ』のインタビューに応じた際、将来的なトッテナムへの復帰願望を明言。ダニエル・レヴィ会長との関係についても「トッテナムを離れた翌日のように、常にとてもとても良い関係を保っている」と語っていた。 これを受け、ポステコグルー監督が今季限りで解任された場合に、後任候補となる可能性も浮上。しかし、イギリス『BBC』によると、その実現には大きなハードルが存在するようだ。 現在ポチェッティーノ監督と契約を結ぶアメリカ合衆国サッカー連盟(USSF)は、莫大な違約金を設定しているとのこと。これまで監督の違約金最高額はブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオンからチェルシーへ移った際のグレアム・ポッター監督や、RBライプツィヒからバイエルンへ移った際のユリアン・ナーゲルスマン監督に設定されていた2100万ポンド(約40億6000万円)と報じられているが、これに匹敵する金額になるという。 ポチェッティーノ監督とアメリカは昨年9月に2年契約を結んだばかり。指揮官も現在は来年に控えた北中米ワールドカップに向けて全力を尽くす意向であり、直近でのトッテナム復帰が実現する可能性は低いだろう。 2025.03.25 16:35 Tue

イスラム過激派組織と関係があるとされたリュディガーが記者を訴え「イスラム主義者として侮辱され、中傷されることを許さない」

W杯で日本と対戦するドイツ代表の呼称「ディー・マンシャフト」が廃止に…7月末に結論
カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、日本代表とも対戦するドイツ代表だが、その“愛称”について議論がなされている。 2014年のブラジルW杯では優勝を果たしているドイツ代表。チームの愛称として「Die Mannschaft(ディー・マンシャフト)」が採用されている。 これはW杯制覇後の2015年にドイツ代表のマネージャーを務めるオリバー・ビアホフ氏が呼称として導入したもの。意味は「これがチームだ」というものだが、廃止の方向で話が進んでいる。 ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)のベルント・ノイエンドルフ会長は、この呼称について終わる可能性があることを20日にコメント。7月末に結論を出すという。 「終わりが来る。7月末に責任機関の会合が開かれ、決定が確実に下される。終わりのない話には興味がない」 「今回の定性調査では、我々のイメージを固め、意見をまとめることができるはずだ。ただ、調査に依存することはない」 この言葉の生みの親とも言われるビアホフ氏は「我慢すれば良い」と会長の決定を受け入れることを示唆。日本と対戦するときにはもう使われない愛称となっていそうだ。 2022.06.21 14:30 Tue

「これはどっちも買う」「素敵すぎ」ドイツ代表のW杯ユニが大好評!ホームは1908年をモチーフに
