ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)は9日、スポーツ・ディレクター(SD)を務めるルディ・フェラー氏(64)との契約延長を発表した。新契約は2028年までとなる。
ルディ・フェラー氏は、レバークーゼンやローマの幹部として従事すると、2022年12月にドイツ代表のアドバイザーに就任。2023年2月からはSDに就任していた。

データおよびテクノロジーにおけるリーディングカンパニーの「ニールセン・グレースノート」が、オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場する選手のインフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表した。
なでしこジャパンも出場する女子W杯。開幕までおよそ1カ月となった中で、各国の出場選手も決定している。
「ニールセン・グレースノート」は出場する選手の中での、インフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表。フォロワーやフォロワーの増加、エンゲージメント率など、インスタグラム上の投稿ごとの平均ブランド価値を評価してランキングを発表した。
トップ10が発表され、実に9カ国の選手がランクイン。アメリカ女子代表のみが唯一2選手がランクインしている。
1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。
アストン・ビラでは2シーズンでFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で43試合に出場し7ゴール。スイス代表としても38キャップを記録している。
2位には、バルセロナのエースでありスペイン女子代表のエースでもあるMFアレクシア・プテジャス。フォロワーは280万人であり、1位のレーマンがどれほどのフォロワーを抱えているかがわかる。
2シーズン連続でUEFA年間最優秀女子選手、バロンドールを受賞。2021年にはFIFA最優秀女子選手賞を受賞している。
2022年にはスペイン女子初となる代表100キャップに到達。その後、前十字じん帯を損傷し女子ユーロは欠場していた。
3位は、サンディエゴ・ウェーブスに所属するアメリカ女子代表FWアレックス・モーガン。フォロワーは1000万人だが、増加率やエンゲージメント率が低く、価値は3位となった。
言わずと知れたアメリカのエースで、過去2度のW杯優勝を経験。2012年のロンドン・オリンピックでは金メダルを獲得している。アメリカ女子代表として200キャップ以上を記録し、120ゴール以上を決めている。

プレーヤーとしての注目はもちろんのこと、インフルエンサーとしても注目を集める選手が多い女子W杯。残念ながらなでしこジャパンの選手はトップ10に入らなかったが、注目したいところだ。

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、日本代表とも対戦するドイツ代表だが、その“愛称”について議論がなされている。
2014年のブラジルW杯では優勝を果たしているドイツ代表。チームの愛称として「Die Mannschaft(ディー・マンシャフト)」が採用されている。
これはW杯制覇後の2015年にドイツ代表のマネージャーを務めるオリバー・ビアホフ氏が呼称として導入したもの。意味は「これがチームだ」というものだが、廃止の方向で話が進んでいる。
ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)のベルント・ノイエンドルフ会長は、この呼称について終わる可能性があることを20日にコメント。7月末に結論を出すという。
「終わりが来る。7月末に責任機関の会合が開かれ、決定が確実に下される。終わりのない話には興味がない」
「今回の定性調査では、我々のイメージを固め、意見をまとめることができるはずだ。ただ、調査に依存することはない」

長期離脱から復帰したレバークーゼンのドイツ代表MFフロリアン・ヴィルツ(19)への関心が強まっているようだ。
ヴィルツはドイツ代表の次世代を担うと言われている逸材。2020年5月に17歳15日でブンデスリーガデビューを果たすと、あっという間にチームの攻撃をけん引する存在となり、19歳にしてクラブ通算86試合21得点26アシストを記録している。
昨年3月に左ヒザ前十字じん帯を断裂し、長期離脱を強いられたのは痛恨だったが、今年1月に復帰後は公式戦8試合で2得点4アシストを記録。すでに完全復活を印象付けている。
ケガ以前からバルセロナやレアル・マドリーといったビッグクラブの関心が伝えらえていたが、スペイン『Fichajes』は、今後はより多くのクラブが熱視線を送るようになるだろうと主張している。
一方、レバークーゼンは2020年夏にドイツ代表MFカイ・ハヴァーツを8000万ユーロ(約115億5000万円)でチェルシーに売却した前例があり、昨夏に2027年6月までの長期契約を結んだヴィルツについても、そう簡単に手放すつもりはないと考えられている。

アディダスから、ドイツ代表GKマヌエル・ノイアーが代表通算100キャップを達成したことを記念する特別なキーパーグローブが発売された。
2009年のデビューからドイツ代表で長らく守護神に君臨するノイアー。GK大国として知られるドイツの地で35歳の今も第一線を走り続け、来るユーロ2020の登録メンバーにも入っている。
ノイアーは2日に行われたデンマーク代表との国際親善試合に出場すると、続く6日のラトビア代表戦でもプレー。代表キャリア節目の100試合出場を達成していた。
それを記念して、アディダスはノイアーが着用しているキーパーグローブ「プレデター」の特別バージョンを発表。白が基調となっているグローブにはドイツ国旗に用いられる黒、赤、金のラインが描かれている。また、手首の部分は黒ベースに金色が施されている。
さらに、ドイツ国旗が描かれているだけでなく、「100」の数字とともにノイアーの背番号「1」、そして代表デビュー年の「2009」、100試合達成の「2021」という数字が刻まれている。
なお、ノイアーはラトビア戦ですでにこのキーパーグローブを着用していた。

ドイツサッカー界きってのカップルに、離婚の危機が迫っているようだ。ドイツ『ビルト』が伝えた。
そのカップルは、ドルトムントに所属するDFマッツ・フンメルス(32)とキャシーさん(33)の夫婦とのことだ。
『ビルト』によると、交際スタートから14年を迎えるカップルが別れることを決断したいとのこと。しかし、揉めて別れることは避けたいと考えているようだ。
2人の間には3歳になる息子のルートビヒくんがおり、彼の将来の幸せを考えているとのこと。妻のキャシーさんは「私たちの子供の幸せは、2人にとって常に最優先事項でした」と常々語っていた。
キャシーさんは、ミュンヘン近郊出身で、2007年にフンメルスと出会い、2008年にはドルトムントにフンメルスとともに移住。経済学を学び、テレビのレポーターなどを務めた。現在は、インフルエンサーや起業家として活躍しており、2020年には自身のうつ病を題材としたベストセラー本を出版している。
仲睦まじい夫婦として知られていた2人だったが、近年は公の場に姿を現わす機会が大きく減り、SNS上でも2人が一緒に写る写真が大幅に減ったという。
昨年10月には『ビルト』の取材に対して「別れてはいません。時に困難なことがあっても、自分自身に働きかけます。普通の夫婦と同じで、浮き沈みはあります」とキャシーさんは語っていた。
フンメルスとともにドルトムントへ来たキャシーさんは、2016年7月にフンメルスがバイエルンへと移籍した際にミュンヘンへ移住。しかし、2019年7月にドルトムントへと戻った時には、そのままミュンヘンに滞在。現在も別居状態が続いていた。
2人の関係の亀裂が報じられる一方で、キャシーさんのインスタグラムではyユーロ2020を戦う夫を支えるために、スタジアムに息子と訪れている姿がアップされているが、どういった結末を迎えるのだろうか。

ルディ・フェラー氏は、レバークーゼンやローマの幹部として従事すると、2022年12月にドイツ代表のアドバイザーに就任。2023年2月からはSDに就任していた。
