「マジか!」メキシコ代表の新ユニフォームは孔雀の目玉模様をそのままデザインに!新エンブレムは今でも受け入れられず「前のデザインを返して!」

メキシコサッカー連盟(FMF) とアディダスは14日、新ユニフォームを発表した。 2022年のカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、グループステージ敗退に終わったメキシコ。その後ディエゴ・コッカ監督を招へいしたもののわずか4カ月で解任。現在は2021年の東京オリンピックでメキシコを指揮したハイメ・ロサーノ氏が指揮を執っている。 2026年の北中米W杯は開催国としてすでに出場権を得ているなか、コパ・アメリカ2024にも出場するメキシコが新ユニフォームを発表している。そのホームユニフォームは、採用されることが多いグリーンではなく、渋めの赤がベースに。1930～1950年代の代表でメインカラーに採用されていた色を取り入れている。そして、なんといっても特徴的なのがそのデザイン。シャツの前後にはメキシコの神話で伝わる孔雀の羽をイメージしたという柄を全体にデザインし、それ以外の要素は白であしらっている。さらに、アウェイユニフォームのデザインも唯一無二なものに。メキシコの豊かな文化遺産と国の未来からインスピレーションを得て、伝統と現代性の融合を実現させたというデザインには、古代アステカ文明に見られるトライアングルやジグザグなどの幾何学模様が組み合わさった模様をシャツ前面に採用。メキシコの文化的ルーツに敬意を払いながら、現代的なひねりを加えている。そのデザインには、「マジか!」、「今までで一番ひどい」、「緑色にしてくれ」、「革新的なユニフォームは嫌いじゃない」とファンから反響が寄せられている。また、ファンは今なお2021年に33年ぶりに変更した新しいエンブレムが受け入れられない模様。新ユニフォーム発表の投稿には、「前のエンブレムを返して!」、「エンブレムを戻してくれ」、「前のエンブレムだったらもっと良かっただろう」といった嘆きの声が多くあがっている。 <span class="paragraph-title">【画像】どちらのデザインも唯一無二のメキシコ代表の新ユニフォーム</span> <span data-other-div="movie"></span> <blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink="https://www.instagram.com/p/C4eUilROlrz/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading" data-instgrm-version="14" style=" background:#FFF; アウェイはなんとJリーグクラブの色違い!アディダスと契約したベネズエラ代表がコパ・アメリカ用の新ユニフォームを発表

「なぜ揃えなかった?」ブラジル代表の新ユニフォームはバランスが良くない?エンブレムが中央に配置され左右非対称に「ナイキのロゴも寄せてくれ」

感動の再会! 王者となった父ディ・マリアが帰宅、娘と妻と玄関先で熱いハグ!

コパ・アメリカの思い出/六川亨の日本サッカーの歩み

ブラジルで開催中のコパ・アメリカで、いよいよ明日(日本時間では18日の朝8時キックオフ)は日本が登場し、初戦で大会3連覇を狙うチリと対戦する。レアル・マドリーに移籍した久保建英がスタメン出場を果たすのか、注目の一戦でもある。そこで今日は、日本が初出場した20年前の1999年のコパ・アメリカを振り返ってみよう。前年に日本代表の監督に就任したフィリップ・トルシエ監督は、3月のワールドユース(現U-20W杯)で準優勝を飾っただけに、コパ・アメリカでもジャイアント・キリングを期待されたものだ。ただ、中田英寿はペルージャへ移籍して最初のシーズンを過ごした後だったため、休養させるために招集しなかった。そして同時期と前後してシドニー五輪の1次予選が日本であったため、小野伸二は五輪チームに参戦するためコパ・アメリカを回避した。結果的に小野はフィリピン戦で後方からの悪質なタックルを受けてヒザのじん帯を損傷。五輪はもちろんA代表でも主力選手の1人だった小野の長期離脱に、トルシエ監督は「パラグアイに連れて行くべきだった」と悔やんだものだ。さて成田を発ち、ロサンゼルス、サンパウロ経由でパラグアイの首都アスンシオンまでは34時間の長旅だった。現地では、スタジアム周辺はもちろんのこと、街中でもいたるところに自動小銃を携えた軍人が立っていたため、治安は思ったより悪くはなかった。日本の初戦はコパ・アメリカの直前にキリン杯で対戦したペルー。キリン杯では0-0の引き分けに終わったが、それはペルーにほとんどやる気がなかったから。しかしコパ・アメリカでは違った。日本は呂比須ワグナーがFKからヘッドで先制点を奪ったものの、すぐさまペルーの反撃に遭い2-1と逆転された。しかし日本も粘り、後半に三浦淳宏が直接FKから同点弾を叩き込む。しかし攻撃の手を緩めないペルーに決勝点を奪われ2-3で惜敗した。やはりフレンドリーマッチと真剣勝負、それも相手のホームに近い試合では“本気度”が違うと痛感したものだ。続く第2戦は地元のパラグアイ。日本はトルシエ監督が得意としたフラット3で臨んだものの、ラインを揃えて下げているうちに強烈なミドルシュートを叩き込まれるなどベニテスとロケ・サンタクルスに2ゴールを奪われ0-4の完敗を喫した。スタジアムからの帰り道、街角に立つ娼婦らから「ハポン(日本)ゼロ、パラグアイクアトロ(4点)」とバカにされたものだ。このパラグアイ戦後、トルシエ監督は記者団の囲み取材で名波に対し「リーダーシップに欠ける」と名指しで批判。これに対し名波も「ピッチで戦うのは選手」と反論した。その後2001年にコルドバでスペインと対戦した後も、名波はヒザに故障を抱えての参戦に対し、トルシエ監督はチームドクターから報告がないと激怒。このスペイン戦以降、トルシエ・ジャパンに名波が呼ばれることはなく、2大会連続のW杯出場はかなわなかった。話をコパ・アメリカに戻すと、日本は第3戦のボリビア戦も先制を許したが、後半に呂比須がPKから同点ゴールを決めて1-1のドローに追いついた。土砂降りでの悪コンディションで、照明も暗かったこと、ヒステリックに笛を吹いた主審がメキシコのベニート・アルチュンディアだったことくらいしか記憶にない。そうそう、この試合では、長らく日本のDF陣を牽引してきた井原正巳が前半20分と後半37分に警告を受けて退場処分になった。そしてこの試合が井原にとって、日本代表最後の試合となった。Aマッチ出場122試合は、遠藤保仁に抜かれるまで長らく最多出場記録でもあった。大会は、リバウドやロナウドを擁するブラジルが2大会連続6回目の優勝を飾り、サラジェタのウルグアイが準優勝。地元パラグアイは準々決勝でウルグアイにPK戦で敗退し、シメオネやパレルモを擁するアルゼンチンもベスト8でブラジルに敗れた。このコパ・アメリカで代表デビューを飾ったアルゼンチンのFWマルティン・パレルモだが、グループリーグのコロンビア戦でPKを3本蹴って3本とも失敗するという椿事も目撃した(試合はコロンビアが3-0で勝利)。蹴る方も蹴る方だし、蹴らせる方も蹴らせる方だと思わずにいられなかった。果たして明日のチリ戦で日本はどんな戦いを見せるのか。強敵揃いだが、U-22日本代表がトゥーロン国際大会の決勝でブラジルに善戦したように、東京五輪世代の活躍に期待したい。 2019.06.17 20:50 Mon
