ポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウド(36)がユーロ2020の得点王にあたる『UEFA EURO 2020 Alipay Top Scorer』に輝いた。
今大会ではオウンゴールが11ゴールと、過去15大会の総数(9ゴール)を1大会で上回る異例の形となったが、各国のエースストライカーたちが順当に仕事を果たした。
そういった中、最終的に得点王に輝いたのは、ユーロ史上初の5大会連続ゴールに、元イラン代表FWアリ・ダエイに並ぶ代表最多ゴール記録(109ゴール)を樹立したC・ロナウド。
C・ロナウドは今大会でチェコ代表FWパトリック・シックと5ゴールで並んでいたが、欧州サッカー連盟(UEFA)の基準ではゴール数で並んだ場合はアシスト数、出場時間数の少なさの順でランキングが決定するため、0アシストのシックに対して、1アシストのポルトガル代表FWが優位と判断されて嬉しいユーロ得点王初受賞となった。

フランス代表の新ユニフォームのデザインがリークされている。ユニフォーム専門サイト『Footy Headlines』が伝えている。
『Footy Headlines』によると、2024年6月に開幕するユーロ2024を前に、その大会で着用する各国代表のユニフォームのデザインについての情報も出てきており、フランスもその1つに。いくつかの情報が出ている中で予想デザインも作られている。
そのデザインについては、フランス代表のホームユニフォームでよく用いられるネイビーというよりは、かなり明るめの青がベースとなるようだ。
その上で、襟は青、白、赤のトリコロールに。袖口と脇のサイドの部分に赤がアクセントとして用いられている。
また、シャツは無地でクラシックな印象に。さらに左胸のエンブレムが通常よりも大きく施され、クラシカルな印象を強めている。
このシャツに、白いショーツと赤のソックスという組み合わせが採用されるという。
このデザインには、ファンも「今までのナイキのキットの中でベストだと言わざるを得ない」、「10点満点の美しいユニフォーム」、「素晴らしいと言わざるを得ない」、「とてもクラシック」とコメントしており、クラシカルなテイストは好評のようだ。
なお、ユニフォームの正式発表は2024年の3月から4月にかけて行われる可能性が高いようだ。

ハンガリーサッカー連盟(MLSZ) とアディダスは14日、ハンガリー代表の新ユニフォームを発表した。
ユーロ2024予選では、グループGを5勝3分けの無敗という強さで首位突破を果たしたハンガリー。本大会ではグループAに入り、ドイツ代表、スコットランド代表、スイス代表と同居している。
そのユーロ2024に向けての新ユニフォーム。ホームは赤をベースとしつつ、白をアクセントに、さらにシャツのサイドには緑のラインが施された。胸には、MLSZのエンブレムが右胸に、左胸にはハンガリーの国章が入り、そのど真ん中にアディダスのロゴが白であしらわれている。
アウェイユニフォームについては、ホームユニフォームとほぼ同じデザインの色違いに。こちらは白がベースとなり、肩のスリーストライプスは赤になっている。袖と襟の一部分は緑に切り替わっているほか、シャツのサイドのラインは赤と緑の2色が並べられている。
今回アディダスから発表されたユニフォームは、ハンガリーに限らず、エンブレムやアディダスのロゴのサイズが以前よりも大きくなっている。その中、ハンガリーはエンブレムを2つデザインしていることもあり、ファンからは「MLSZのロゴが大きくなっていなければもっと良かったのに…」、「なんてことだ。MLSZのロゴが大きくなっている」と意見が集まっている。

フランスサッカー連盟(FFF) とナイキは18日、フランス代表の新ユニフォームを発表した。
6月に開幕するユーロ2024でも着用する新ユニフォーム。開幕まで3カ月を切った中ついに新発表となった。
また、この新ユニフォームはパリ・オリンピックでも着用。さらに、女子ユーロ2025の予選で女子チームも着用する。
そのデザインは、明るめのブルーをベースにしつつ、襟は青、白、赤のトリコロールに。袖口と脇のサイドの部分に赤がアクセントとして用いられている。
一方のアウェイユニフォームは、白をベースにしながらシャツ全体にストライプ柄が採用。ストライプは左半分が赤、右半分が青に切り替わっていて、袖口や襟は青だ。
新ユニフォームの特徴としては、ホームとアウェイどちらもフランス代表のシンボルである左胸の雄鶏がかなり大きくあしらわれている。
その新デザインについてファンは「KFC(ケンタッキーフライドチキン)とのコラボか?」、「巨大すぎないか?」、「鶏デカすぎる…」、「鶏の主張が強め」とコメント。やはり大きくなったエンブレムに注目が集まっている。

6月29日に行われたユーロ2020ラウンド16でスウェーデン代表に勝利し、史上初のベスト8進出を決めたウクライナ代表。延長後半のアディショナルタイムに決勝ゴールをマークしたのはFWアルテム・ドヴビクだった。
延長後半16分でのゴールに喜びを爆発させたドヴビクがゴール直後にシャツを脱ぐと、胸元を隠すような黒いベスト型の下着のようなものが露わになった。
スポーツブラにも見えたシーンには、ファンから「なぜスポーツブラを着ているのか分からない」など疑問の声が多く集まっていたが、イギリス『デイリー・メール』によると、これは選手の心拍数、走行距離などを追跡する分析機器だという。
北アイルランドのSTATSports社が提供するベスト型の機器は、選手の速度、加速度、心拍数、走行距離などを計測でき、集められた情報を電子機器に送信することも可能だ。
なお、別物ではあるが、日本代表選手やJリーガーなどサッカー選手がGPSを着用することはもはや普通になっており、似たような光景はよく見られている。
この機器の価格は約200ポンド(約3万円)で、マンチェスター・ユナイテッド、リバプール、アーセナルなどプレミアリーグクラブでも使用されている。
延長後半16分に母国を史上初のベスト8に導く決勝ゴールを決めたドヴビクの心拍数はさぞ高かったのではないだろうか。
