ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)は16日、ユーロ2024のドイツ代表の候補メンバー27名を発表した。ユリアン・ナーゲルスマン監督が率いるドイツ代表。今回のユーロは開催国として戦うこととなる。

2014年のブラジル・ワールドカップ(W杯)で優勝も、2018年のロシア大会、2022年のカタール大会ではグループステージ敗退という屈辱を味わうことに。さらに、ハンジ・フリック監督が9月に日本代表に敗れたことを受けて解任。ナーゲルスマン監督が就任していた。
大会を盛り上げる意図もあり、ドイツ代表はSNSやテレビ、ラジオ、インフルエンサーなどを使って小出しにメンバー発表をしていた中、27名のメンバーが正式に発表された。

キャプテンはバルセロナのMFイルカイ・ギュンドアン。事前に発表されていたのは、ドルトムントのDFニコ・シュローターベック、DFヨナタン・ター(レバークーゼン)、MFアレクサンダル・パブロビッチ(バイエルン)、GKマヌエル・ノイアー(バイエルン)、FWニクラス・フュルクルク(ドルトムント)、MFクリス・ヒューリッヒ(シュツットガルト)、DFロビン・コッホ(フランクフルト)、FWカイ・ハヴァーツ(アーセナル)らとなった。
その他のメンバーはまとめて発表されたが、GKにはシュツットガルトのアレクサンダー・ニューベルが招集。フルアムのGKベルント・レノが肩を負傷しており、繰り上がっての初招集となった。なお、ナーゲルスマン監督はGKを4名招集しているが、4人体制でユーロに臨む予定のため、落選となるのはフィールドプレーヤーとなる。

また、2014年のブラジルW杯優勝を経験しているFWトーマス・ミュラー(バイエルン)、MFトニ・クロース(レアル・マドリー)もメンバー入り。一方で無敗でブンデスリーガ初制覇のレバークーゼンに所属するMFヨナス・ホフマンはメンバー入りせず。また、DFマッツ・フンメルス(ドルトムント)やMFレオン・ゴレツカ(バイエルン)も選ばれなかった。

ドイツはグループAに入っており、スコットランド代表、ハンガリー代表、スイス代表と対戦する。今回発表されたドイツ代表候補メンバーは以下の通り。

W杯で日本と対戦するドイツ代表の呼称「ディー・マンシャフト」が廃止に…7月末に結論

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)では、日本代表とも対戦するドイツ代表だが、その“愛称”について議論がなされている。 2014年のブラジルW杯では優勝を果たしているドイツ代表。チームの愛称として「Die Mannschaft(ディー・マンシャフト)」が採用されている。 これはW杯制覇後の2015年にドイツ代表のマネージャーを務めるオリバー・ビアホフ氏が呼称として導入したもの。意味は「これがチームだ」というものだが、廃止の方向で話が進んでいる。 ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)のベルント・ノイエンドルフ会長は、この呼称について終わる可能性があることを20日にコメント。7月末に結論を出すという。 「終わりが来る。7月末に責任機関の会合が開かれ、決定が確実に下される。終わりのない話には興味がない」 「今回の定性調査では、我々のイメージを固め、意見をまとめることができるはずだ。ただ、調査に依存することはない」 この言葉の生みの親とも言われるビアホフ氏は「我慢すれば良い」と会長の決定を受け入れることを示唆。日本と対戦するときにはもう使われない愛称となっていそうだ。 2022.06.21 14:30 Tue
