2試合で見えた個々の差…日本代表W杯メンバー26名に入るのは?現時点でのスタメン候補は?/日本代表コラム

カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)まで残り2カ月を切り、メンバー選考前の最後の2試合が終了した。今回のドイツ遠征には30名が招集。初戦のアメリカ代表戦を終えた段階で、DF冨安健洋(アーセナル)がクラブ事情で離脱。またそのアメリカ戦で背中から落下し、前半のみのプレーでピッチを後にしていたGK権田修一(清水エスパルス)がケガで離脱した。

28名となった中、エクアドル代表と27日に対戦。結果はご存知の通り0-0のゴールレスドロー。日本は最後の2試合を1勝1分けで終えた。
森保一監督は、アメリカ戦、エクアドル戦でスタメンをそう入れ替えし、結果として30名中26名を起用。ピッチに立てなかったのは、GK川島永嗣(ストラスブール)、GK谷晃生(湘南ベルマーレ)、DF瀬古歩夢(グラスホッパー)、MF旗手怜央(セルティック)の4名となった。

瀬古に至っては2試合連続でベンチ外となり、旗手はエクアドル戦でベンチ入りも起用されないという状況。ともにクラブチームではレギュラーとしてプレーしているだけに、代表のピッチに立てなかったことは悔しさが残ったはずだ。
今回の2試合は[4-2-3-1]を採用し、森保監督が就任当初から最終予選の途中まで使っていたシステムで戦った。トップ下を明確に置くシステムにし、1トップとの距離を縮めること、そしてボランチを2枚にして守備の強度を保ちながら、中盤を支配して押し上げていく戦い方となった。

アメリカ戦では相手がボールを繋いできたこともあり、プレスがハマって攻撃に出る時間が長かった。一方のエクアドル戦は、相手が中央を固めたことでボールを縦に入れられず、サイドに展開した際にはすぐに寄せてボールを奪われるという状況に。相手のコンディション等もあるが、全く違った展開となる2試合だった。

今回の2試合で代表活動での選考は終了。あとはクラブチームでの残り期間の活躍や成長がメンバー入りを左右することになるが、改めてこのタイミングで26名を考えてみたい。

「超いいね」「絶対買う」日本代表のLINEスタンプ第2弾が発売! W杯参加の全26選手や森保一監督のデザインが話題「ブラボースタンプいい」

「まさに死闘ってカンジ」歴史に残るバーレーンとの4-3の激闘!2004年大会プレイバックに反響「このゴールで中澤佑二に惚れた」

「素晴らしいムービーありがとう」W杯の熱量そのままに!開幕へ向けたJリーグのPVが大反響「四年後じゃない。二ヶ月後だ」

「爽やか〜」「かっこよすぎ」田中碧のニューヘアーが大絶賛、大先輩も「髪型グーやん」
