現在、プリメイラ・リーガでもポルトと三つ巴の激しいタイトルレースを繰り広げているリスボンの両雄。先月末に行われたリーグ戦での前回対戦ではスポルティングが1-0で勝利を収めていたなか、タイトルを懸けた約2週間ぶりの再戦も同じく拮抗した戦いとなった。
試合は前半半ば過ぎの29分にボックス左でMFアンヘル・ディ・マリアからパスを受けたFWアンドレアス・シェルデルップが鋭いカットインからの右足コントロールシュートをゴール右隅に突き刺し、ベンフィカが先制に成功。
だが、スポルティングも前半終了間際の43分にエースFWヴィクトル・ギョケレシュがPKを決めて同点に追いついた。
その後も一進一退の攻防が続いた試合は90分、延長戦でも決着が付かず。タイトルの行方はPK戦に委ねられることに。
そのPK戦では互いに6人目まで全員が成功したなか、先行のベンフィカはMF フロレンティーノ・ルイスが決めたのに対して、後攻のスポルティングの7人目となったFWフランシスコ・トリンコンのシュートはGKアナトリー・トルビンが見事にストップ。
この結果、白熱のリスボン・ダービーを制したベンフィカが最多8度目のリーグカップ制覇を成し遂げた。

フライブルクの日本代表MF堂安律が2日、自身のインスタグラムでメッセージを投稿し結婚を発表。お相手について明かされていなかったが、その後に妻との2ショットを投稿して話題となっている。
堂安は2日、自身のインスタグラムを更新。「この度かねてよりお付き合いをさせていただいている方と結婚いたしましたことをご報告させていただきます」とし、自筆の署名が入ったメッセージを投稿していた。
これには久保建英や守田英正、南野拓実、中山雄太、田中碧、板倉滉、三笘薫、相馬勇紀、原口元気、町田浩樹、三好康児、菅原由勢、浅野拓磨、三竿健斗、武藤嘉紀など、日本代表でのチームメイトらから祝福のコメントが寄せられた。
そんな中、堂安は改めてインスタグラムを更新。妻の肩を抱く2ショットを投稿し、「沢山のお祝いメッセージありがとうございます!」と投稿していた。
これにはファンも驚き。「奥さん可愛い」、「ついに2ショットお披露目」、「お似合いすぎる!」、「とうとう顔出し!」、「綺麗な奥様」、「お嫁さん可愛すぎ」と絶賛のコメントが寄せられている。
堂安は今月行われる北中米ワールドカップ アジア2次予選に臨む日本代表にも選出。新婚として初の代表活動での活躍が期待される。

日本代表MF守田英正も所属するスポルティングで、エースとして活躍する26歳ストライカー。2024-25シーズンは公式戦27試合で27ゴール6アシストを記録している。
ポルトガル『RTP』によると、2023-24シーズンの後半、2024-25シーズンの前半を合わせた1年間では、代表戦も含め公式戦63試合62ゴールを記録。2024年の世界得点王となった。
内訳はスポルティングで56試合52ゴール、スウェーデン代表で7試合10ゴール。シーズンで区切ると2023-24シーズン後半は30試合26ゴール、2024-25シーズン前半は33試合36ゴールとなった。
直近10年間で60ゴール以上を挙げたのはギョケレシュとポーランド代表FWロベルト・レヴァンドフスキ(現:バルセロナ)のみ。レヴァンドフスキはバイエルンに所属していた2021年に69ゴールを奪っている。
なお、21世紀における最高記録は、アルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシ(現:インテル・マイアミ)。バルセロナ時代の2012年に69試合で91ゴールという圧巻の数字を残し、元ドイツ代表FWゲルト・ミュラー氏の85ゴール(1972年)も上回った。

パリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)のウルグアイ代表MFが日本代表ユニフォームを着用して話題となっている。
日本代表ユニフォームを着用していたのはPSGのMFマヌエル・ウガルテ。2022-23シーズンまでスポルティングCPでプレーしており、今シーズンからPSGに加入。中盤を支え、リーグ・アンでは22試合で3アシストを記録している。
ポルトガル『SportTV』のインスタグラムがウガルテの写真をアップ、そこには背番号「13」の日本代表ユニフォームを笑顔で着用する姿が。それはスポルティングCPの日本代表MF守田英正のユニフォームだった。
ウガルテと守田は、2022-23シーズンはチームメイト。スポルティングの中盤を2人で支えており、名コンビとして注目されていた。
また、ウルグアイ代表としてプレーするウガルテは、2023年3月に来日し、日本代表と対戦。守田と共にスタートからピッチに立ち、対戦していた。
『SportTV』は「スポルティングの中盤のウガルテと守田が懐かしいですか?」と投稿。ファンは「なんて可愛いんだ」、「2人は恋人のような仲だった」、「素晴らしいコンビだった」とコメントが集まり、守田も投稿にいいねを送っている。

トッテナムがスポルティングCPの元ポルトガル代表MFペドロ・ゴンサウヴェス(24)に関心を寄せているようだ。
ペドロ・ゴンサウヴェスは日本代表MF守田英正が所属するスポルティングの絶対的エース。今季は[3-4-3]のシャドーとセントラルハーフをこなし、公式戦42試合の出場で18ゴール12アシストをマークしている。ゴールとアシストはどちらもチーム最多の数字だ。
クラブキャリアでは下部組織時代から過ごしたウォルバーハンプトンで2018年8月にプロデビューを果たすも、出場は1試合にとどまり、その後はファマリカンを経て、現所属のスポルティングへ。イギリス『90min』によると、今夏にイングランドに戻ってくる可能性があるようだ。
関心を寄せているのはリバプール、トッテナム、ニューカッスル、アストン・ビラ。その中で最も熱を入れているのは、今冬スポルティングからスペイン代表DFペドロ・ポロを買い取り義務付きの半年レンタルで獲得しているトッテナムだという。
トッテナムは先月に解任したアントニオ・コンテ監督の後任がいまだ決まらず、移籍市場を統括するマネージング・ディレクター(MD)のファビオ・パラティチ氏も停職中。だが、補強計画は中断しておらず、ペドロ・ゴンサウヴェスについても数カ月にわたって注視してきたとされる。
前述の通り、今季のペドロ・ゴンサウヴェスはシャドーとセントラルハーフでプレーし、さらにウィングやトップ下にも対応可能。ほぼ全ポジションをアップグレードしたい考えのトッテナムにとって理想的な選手であると考えられている。
