国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は14日、国際プロサッカー選手会(FIFPro)と共同主催する2021年の男子ワールドイレブン候補を発表した。
FIFA/FIFProワールドイレブンは2005年からスタート。世界のフットボーラーによる投票で決められ、来年1月17日に開催予定の『ザ・ベスト・FIFAフットボールアウォーズ』で発表される。
これまでは55選手がノミネートされてきたが、今回から23選手に。その今回も最多14度の受賞数を誇るFWリオネル・メッシとFWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドをはじめ、錚々たる顔ぶれが揃った。

メッシと妻は30年来の仲、幼馴染の2人が結ばれW杯で優勝するまで

メッシ加入で急上昇のインテル・マイアミ、費用1000億円超えの新スタジアム建設開始を発表 完成は2025年予定
メジャーリーグ・サッカー(MLS)に属するインテル・マイアミFCは29日、新スタジアムの建設がスタートしたことを発表した。 アルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシらの加入でクラブ初のタイトルを獲得するなど、飛ぶ鳥を落とす勢いで成長を続けるインテル・マイアミ。新たなスタジアムは「マイアミ・フリーダム・パーク」と名付けられた複合施設となる予定だ。 場所はマイアミ国際空港から車で5分程度の旧メルリーズ・カントリー・クラブ。インテル・マイアミは現在1万8000人収容のDRV PNKスタジアムを使用しているが、新スタジアムは2万5000席で、サッカー専用になる予定だ。費用は10億ドル(約1462億円)が見込まれている。 市内最大級となる約0.23平方kmの公園や、複数のサッカー場を備えたサッカービレッジも整備予定で、敷地内には既存の野球場やグレープランド・ウォーター・パークに加え、約0.53平方kmの環境保全区域も設定される。 また、来訪者が一年中楽しめるようにと、オフィスや商業施設、レストランも併設。750部屋を擁するホテルも建てられる予定だ。 現場ではすでに基礎工事が始まっており、今年後半に正式な起工式が行われる。 これらプロジェクトは100%民間資金で行われ、イギリス『デイリー・メール』によると、マイアミ・フリーダム・パークが市から約0.30平方kmの土地を借り受け、リース期間中26億7000万ドル(約3900億円)の賃料を市に支払うとのこと。さらに63億ドル(約9213億円)の税収に貢献すると見込んでおり、市への貢献度も期待されている。 なお、スタジアムの完成予定は2025年。以降段階的にホテルや商業施設が加えられていくとのことだ。 <span class="paragraph-title">【写真】2025年完成予定、インテル・マイアミの新スタジアム</span> <span data-other-div="movie"></span> <blockquote class="instagram-media" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink="https://www.instagram.com/p/CwgWH-EO7tD/?utm_source=ig_embed&utm_campaign=loading" data-instgrm-version="14" style=" background:#FFF; 「絶対に謝らない」ハーランド父に復讐したロイ・キーンが“報復”タックルを否定

「ついに叶ったんだ」…デ・リフトが念願のユナイテッド移籍で決意 「次なる歴史の一翼に」

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

ベッカム&ギャリー・ネビルがイギリス4部クラブ買収! ギグスやスコールズら92年組がオーナーだったサルフォード・シティの共同オーナーに
EFLリーグ2(イングランド4部)に所属するサルフォード・シティは8日、かつてマンチェスター・ユナイテッドやイングランド代表で活躍したデイビッド・ベッカム氏とギャリー・ネビル氏が率いるコンソーシアムに買収されたことを発表した。 マンチェスターのサルフォードに拠点を置くサルフォード・シティは、マンチェスター・ユナイテッドで活躍し92年組として知られるライアン・ギグス氏、ポール・スコールズ氏、ニッキー・バット氏、フィリップ・ネビル氏が2014年にオーナーとなり、5シーズンで4回の昇格を経験した。 2018-19シーズンにEFLリーグ2に昇格を果たしたが、そこから上には上がれておらず。今シーズンもEFLリーグ2で8位となり、昇格プレーオフを最終節で逃す形となっていた。 そんな中、ベッカム氏、ギャリー・ネビル氏に加え、アメリカ在住の実業家のデクラン・ケリー氏、マーヴィン・デイヴィス卿がグループに入っている。 サルフォード・シティによれば、新たな株主たちはクラブと施設に多額の投資を行うという約束が入っているとのことだ。 なお、ギグス氏、スコールズ氏、バット氏、フィル・ネビル氏は引き続き「テクニカル、フットボール、コマーシャル、リクルート、SCFC財団」の各部門でクラブに関与していくとのこと。92年組が勢揃いすることとなった。 また、新しいコンソーシアムは、インドを拠点とするドリーム・スポーツ・グループ、コリン・ライアン、フランク・ライアン、ニック・ウッドハウス、シュラビン・ミッタルを含む9人の株主で構成されている。 ベッカム氏は「私はサルフォードで育った。そこで過ごした日々には、本当に素敵な思い出がある。この場所と人々は、私のサッカー人生の初期において、とても重要な役割を果たしてくれた。サルフォード・シティは地域社会の中心であり、豊かな歴史を誇る。その新たな章に加わることができ、大変嬉しく思う」とコメントしている。 ギャリー・ネビル氏も「サルフォード・シティに情熱を注いでいる。多様な才能と専門知識を持つメンバーが、サッカーへの愛で結ばれた、他に類を見ないパートナーシップだ。サッカーが最優先だが、今後4～5年でクラブを持続可能な方向へ導くことが不可欠だ。この旅の次の段階が待ちきれない」と、かつての仲間とともにチームを発展させていくことを誓った。 2025.05.08 20:55 Thu
