アルゼンチンサッカー協会(AFA)は15日、2026年北中米ワールドカップ(W杯)の南米予選に臨むアルゼンチン代表候補メンバー28名を発表した。

南米予選の14試合を終えて首位を独走しているアルゼンチン。6月には5日にチリ代表とアウェイで、10日にはホームでコロンビア代表と対戦する。

すでにW杯の出場権を獲得しているアルゼンチン。ここで連勝すれば首位通過も確定するという中で、候補選手を発表。FWリオネル・メッシ(インテル・マイアミ)やFWラウタロ・マルティネス(インテル)、MFアレクシス・マク・アリスター(リバプール)、GKエミリアーノ・マルティネス(アストン・ビラ)、DFクリスティアン・ロメロ(トッテナム)など主軸が順当に候補入りした。

メッシ 大好きなマテ茶のストローは7万円超えの特別仕様

メッシと妻は30年来の仲、幼馴染の2人が結ばれW杯で優勝するまで

2025年最初のFIFAランク、大きく変動も日本は15位をキープ! 2位にスペイン、6位にオランダが浮上【FIFAランキング】

「まず開催されるかわからない」南米王者アルゼンチンの指揮官がフィナリッシマに言及、欧州王者スペインと対戦も「来年は確実に難しい」

アルゼンチン代表のリオネル・スカローニ監督がフィナリッシマの開催に言及した。アルゼンチン『TyC Sports』が伝えた。 コパ・アメリカを制した南米王者とユーロを制した欧州王者が対戦するフィナリッシマ。2022年6月に第1回大会が開催され、イタリア代表を破ったアルゼンチンが初代王者に輝いていた。 今夏のコパ・アメリカ2024で大会2連覇を果たし、南米王者の座を守ったアルゼンチン。今度はユーロ2024で優勝したスペイン代表とフィナリッシマで相まみえる。 前回大会はコパ・アメリカとユーロの翌年に開催されたなか、第2回大会の開催時期は未定。スケジュールがタイトなことから、2025年の開催は不可能とみられている。 アルゼンチンを率いるスカローニ監督も、2026年北中米ワールドカップ(W杯)南米予選のコロンビア代表戦を前にした8日の記者会見で言及。2017年のUEFAプロライセンス取得時に戦術的指導を受けたルイス・デ・ラ・フエンテ監督との対戦日程について、やはり2025年の開催は難しいだろうと見解を示している。 「まず、開催されるかどうかわからない。日程に関して聞いた限りでは、来年の開催は確実に難しいだろう。特にスペインは11月までワールドカップ予選を戦わなければならない。来年実現するとは思えない」 「(日程や会場の)空きが見つかるのかどうかだ。なぜならこのような試合は、ある試合とまた別の試合の間でプレーすることになるからだ。私にはどうなるかまだわからない。まだ先の話だし、そこまでは考えていない。そういった情報しか持っていないから、何が起こるか見てみよう」 なお、開催地については、アルゼンチンサッカー協会 (AFA)がブエノスアイレスのモニュメンタル・スタジアムで行われることを望んだものの、今夏のコパ・アメリカや2026年ワールドカップの開催地であるアメリカ、もしくはヨーロッパが有力とのこと。日程はワールドカップ開催年の2026年3月になる可能性が最も高いと考えられている。 2024.09.09 15:30 Mon

1999年の歴史的珍事“1試合でPK3本失敗”…当事者の名手マルティン・パレルモが回想「どんなに大きいケガよりもつらい」

元アルゼンチン代表FWのマルティン・パレルモ氏が、スペイン『Relevo』で現役時代の「1試合でPKを3本失敗」を振り返った。 かつてカルト的人気を誇ったアルゼンチン産ストライカー、“エル・ロコ(奇人)”パレルモ。名門ボカ・ジュニアーズのスーパーエースとして南米制覇2回、日本でのトヨタカップ2000優勝&MVPなど、サッカー界の一時代を彩った。 その一方、A代表はガブリエル・バティストゥータ時代とエルナン・クレスポ時代に被り、通算15キャップ止まり。また、欧州ではスペインで3年間プレーも目立った活躍なし。 それでも、故ディエゴ・マラドーナ氏に気に入られ、同氏のもとで36歳にして2010年南アフリカW杯を経験。51歳となった現在はパラグアイ1部・オリンピアで監督を務めている。 そんなパレルモ氏と言えば、伝説の「1試合でPKを3本失敗」。1999年7月4日、コパ・アメリカ1999のアルゼンチン代表vsコロンビア代表でパレルモ氏はPKを3本蹴って3本失敗し、チームは0-3で敗れることとなった。 当時を振り返ったパレルモ氏は「ピッチに立っているのがしんどくて仕方なかった」と話す。 「本当につらかった…(笑) 3本外した時点で試合はまだ続いていたし、私もピッチに立っていたわけだからね。その1日を一刻も早く終わらせるべく、すぐにでもロッカールームへ下がりたかった気持ちを覚えているよ。あの経験はどんなに大きいケガよりもつらい経験だ」 同大会ではアルゼンチン代表の“9番”を任され、コロンビア戦もPKを3本外しながらフル出場を強いられたパレルモ氏。試合後、同部屋のチームメイト2人が寄り添ってくれたそうだ。 「(宿泊先で)同部屋がディエゴ・シメオネ、グスタボ・ロペスでね。2人はその日の試合後、部屋でひと言も話さなかったよ。次の試合まで私のメンタルは沈んでいたんだが、あの夜の沈黙の空間に、私は救われたのかもしれない」 「そして翌朝、シメオネがひと言『前に進もう』と僕に言ったんだ。彼は空気を察して無言でもエネルギーを発することができる男だね」 同僚に救われたというパレルモ氏は、3日後のウルグアイ代表戦でゴールを決め、アルゼンチン代表のグループステージ突破に貢献。また、コロンビア戦後はマラドーナ氏からも励ましの電話があったのだという。 「ディエゴは一瞬一瞬を大切にする人間だったよ…彼は私に『またPKがあれば恐れず蹴りに行け』『誰もがPKを蹴る勇気を持つわけじゃないが、キミにはあるだろう』と言ってくれた」 「彼は私が大きなケガをしたとき、私の息子が亡くなったとき…必ず病院に来てくれた。私が活躍したときではなく、寂しくて誰かの支えを必要としたとき、必ずディエゴ・マラドーナがそばにいてくれたよ」 2025.03.15 21:17 Sat

「PKで試合が決まってしまった」 コロンビアとの上位対決落としたアルゼンチン、指揮官はVAR判定に憤り「改善すべきだと思う」
