指揮官出場停止のアルゼンチン代表、コーチのアイマール氏がペルー戦で指揮

W杯にも出場した元アルゼンチン代表DF、妻が自宅から転落死で容疑者に
ワールドカップ(W杯)にも出場しあ元アルゼンチン代表DFが妻の不審な死により容疑をかけられているようだ。イギリス『サン』が伝えた。 2日の午後、ブエノスアイレスのアパートの7階から女性が転落死。45歳のラケル・カンディアさんは、アルゼンチン代表として1994年のアメリカW杯にも出場したことのあるフェルナンド・カセレス氏のパートナーだ。 ラケルさんが転落したアパートには夫婦で1年弱住んでいたとのこと。警察はラケルさんの死に関して捜査を進め、事故か、自殺か、あるいは殺人かの判断をする前に検視結果を待つ予定だという。 ラケルさんの母親と2人の兄弟は今回の死について「妹は自殺したのではなく、殺された」と主張。カセレス氏が容疑者として警察の尋問を受けることになるという。 カセレス氏はアルヘンティノス・ジュニアーズやリーベル・プレート、レアル・サラゴサ、ボカ・ジュニアーズ、バレンシア、セルタ、コルドバ、インデペンティエンテとアルゼンチンとスペインのクラブでプレー。しかし、引退後の2009年にカージャックの被害に遭った際、抵抗したところ頭を銃撃され意識不明に。一命を取り留めたが、2021年にも銃槍が引き起こした合併症で昏睡状態となっていた過去があり、車椅子生活を送っていた。 警察は検視結果と捜査の状況をみて、カセレス氏に事情聴取を行うことになるという。 2024.12.03 23:57 Tue

1999年の歴史的珍事“1試合でPK3本失敗”…当事者の名手マルティン・パレルモが回想「どんなに大きいケガよりもつらい」
元アルゼンチン代表FWのマルティン・パレルモ氏が、スペイン『Relevo』で現役時代の「1試合でPKを3本失敗」を振り返った。 かつてカルト的人気を誇ったアルゼンチン産ストライカー、“エル・ロコ(奇人)”パレルモ。名門ボカ・ジュニアーズのスーパーエースとして南米制覇2回、日本でのトヨタカップ2000優勝&MVPなど、サッカー界の一時代を彩った。 その一方、A代表はガブリエル・バティストゥータ時代とエルナン・クレスポ時代に被り、通算15キャップ止まり。また、欧州ではスペインで3年間プレーも目立った活躍なし。 それでも、故ディエゴ・マラドーナ氏に気に入られ、同氏のもとで36歳にして2010年南アフリカW杯を経験。51歳となった現在はパラグアイ1部・オリンピアで監督を務めている。 そんなパレルモ氏と言えば、伝説の「1試合でPKを3本失敗」。1999年7月4日、コパ・アメリカ1999のアルゼンチン代表vsコロンビア代表でパレルモ氏はPKを3本蹴って3本失敗し、チームは0-3で敗れることとなった。 当時を振り返ったパレルモ氏は「ピッチに立っているのがしんどくて仕方なかった」と話す。 「本当につらかった…(笑) 3本外した時点で試合はまだ続いていたし、私もピッチに立っていたわけだからね。その1日を一刻も早く終わらせるべく、すぐにでもロッカールームへ下がりたかった気持ちを覚えているよ。あの経験はどんなに大きいケガよりもつらい経験だ」 同大会ではアルゼンチン代表の“9番”を任され、コロンビア戦もPKを3本外しながらフル出場を強いられたパレルモ氏。試合後、同部屋のチームメイト2人が寄り添ってくれたそうだ。 「(宿泊先で)同部屋がディエゴ・シメオネ、グスタボ・ロペスでね。2人はその日の試合後、部屋でひと言も話さなかったよ。次の試合まで私のメンタルは沈んでいたんだが、あの夜の沈黙の空間に、私は救われたのかもしれない」 「そして翌朝、シメオネがひと言『前に進もう』と僕に言ったんだ。彼は空気を察して無言でもエネルギーを発することができる男だね」 同僚に救われたというパレルモ氏は、3日後のウルグアイ代表戦でゴールを決め、アルゼンチン代表のグループステージ突破に貢献。また、コロンビア戦後はマラドーナ氏からも励ましの電話があったのだという。 「ディエゴは一瞬一瞬を大切にする人間だったよ…彼は私に『またPKがあれば恐れず蹴りに行け』『誰もがPKを蹴る勇気を持つわけじゃないが、キミにはあるだろう』と言ってくれた」 「彼は私が大きなケガをしたとき、私の息子が亡くなったとき…必ず病院に来てくれた。私が活躍したときではなく、寂しくて誰かの支えを必要としたとき、必ずディエゴ・マラドーナがそばにいてくれたよ」 2025.03.15 21:17 Sat
