アストン・ビラの躍進を支えている主軸の2人が今夏サウジアラビアに行く可能性が浮上している。イギリス『テレグラフ』が伝えた。

毎年のようにサウジアラビアへの移籍が発生している欧州サッカー界。アストン・ビラは、コロンビア代表FWジョン・デュランがアル・ナスルへ移籍し、その前にもフランス代表FWムサ・ディアビがアル・イテハドへ移籍するなどしている。

今シーズンはチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)でもベスト8に進出する躍進を見せ、プレミアリーグでは来シーズンのCL出場権争いを繰り広げているアストン・ビラ。アルゼンチン代表GKエミリアーノ・マルティネス(32)とジャマイカ代表FWレオン・ベイリー(27)が狙われているという。

報道によれば、サウジアラビアの2つのクラブが強い関心を示しているとのこと。チーム名は明らかになっていないが、かなりの資金を用意しているという。

ウナイ・エメリ監督にとっては重要な2選手だが、アストン・ビラはプレミアリーグの利益と持続可能性に関する規則(PSR)を遵守するために条件によっては売却も厭わないようだ。

マルティネスは2029年夏までアストン・ビラと契約しており、チームの中でも最も高給取りの1人。ベイリーは2027年夏までの契約に1年間の延長オプションがついているが、2人とも高額な移籍金を要求することが可能。サウジアラビア側がどんな条件を提出するのかにも注目だ。

主審が観客にイエローカード掲示? イングランドのPSMで主審と観客がお茶目な掛け合い

バレンシアがバレネチェアを獲得…今夏ユーベからアストン・ビラに完全移籍
