アストン・ビラのウナイ・エメリ監督が12日にホームで行われ、3-0で快勝したチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)ラウンド16・2ndレグのクラブ・ブルージュ戦後、会見でコメントした。

先週敵地で行われた1stレグを3-1で先勝していたアストン・ビラは慎重な入りとした中、17分に数的優位に。FWマーカス・ラッシュフォードがGKエミリアーノ・マルティネスのロングフィードに抜け出しかけたところ、ボックス手前ぎりぎりの位置でDFキリアニ・サビーに倒された。

数的優位となったアストン・ビラはゴールレスで迎えた後半、FWマルコ・アセンシオとFWレオン・ベイリーを投入すると、開始5分にベイリーのアシストからアセンシオが決めて先制。
余裕のアストン・ビラは57分にDFイアン・マートセンが追加点を奪うと、61分にはラッシュフォードのアシストからアセンシオが2点目を決めて3-0で快勝とした。

2試合を通して試合巧者ぶりが際立った中、エメリ監督は後半に戦い方を変えて勝つことができたと明かした。
｢前半はちょっと…。我々はブルージュを止めることができず、ボールを奪い返すこともできなかった。だが、相手にレッドカードを招いたプレーは我々が狙っていた背後へのロングボールを使ったシーンだった。ラッシュフォードは素晴らしいプレーをしたし、エミリアーノのパスも素晴らしかった。後半は完全に方針を変え、ハーフタイムでどう試合展開を変えられるかを話し合った。後半のように試合を支配するため、しっかりと計画を実行するべく選手たちは責任を負ってくれた｣

準々決勝ではかつて率いていたパリ・サンジェルマンと対戦する。

｢我々にとって準々決勝に進出することはとても重要で、PSGと対戦することは誇るべきことだ。我々は今、このレベルに居るが、もっと上を目指している。世界最高のチームと競い合いたい。今の我々の最優先事項は直面しているレベルに近づけるように努めることだ。PSGと対戦するのはとても難しい。彼らはプレミアリーグで最強のチーム、昨日まで欧州最強のチームだったリバプール相手に実力を示したのだからね｣

「寄せすぎ」「コピーだ」アストン・ビラの新エンブレムがチェルシーに酷似?実は過去のデザインを踏襲したもの

バレンシアがバレネチェアを獲得…今夏ユーベからアストン・ビラに完全移籍

バレンシアは30日、アストン・ビラからアルゼンチン人MFエンソ・バレネチェア(23)を1年間のレンタル移籍で獲得したことを発表した。 母国のニューウェルズ・オールドボーイズの下部組織出身のバレネチェアは、2019年に加入したスイスのシオンでヨーロッパでのキャリアをスタート。その後、2020年1月にユベントスNext Gen(U-23チーム)に加入。セリエCに所属するクラブで主力を担うと、2022年11月に行われたパリ・サンジェルマン戦でユベントスでのファーストチームデビューを飾った。 ダイナミックなセントラルMFは昨シーズンにレンタル先のフロジノーネでセリエA36試合に出場し、今シーズンはユベントスのファーストチームでの活躍も期待されたが、ブラジル代表MFドウグラス・ルイスの獲得オペレーションに際してU-21イングランド代表MFサミュエル・イリング・ジュニア(20)と共にアストン・ビラへ完全移籍していた。 そして、今シーズンはバレンシアの地で研鑽を積むことになった。 2024.08.30 23:31 Fri
