レアル・マドリーのベルギー代表GKティボー・クルトワが、キャプテンの座を巡って怒りを爆発させているようだ。ベルギー『Nieuwsblad』が伝えている。
ベルギー代表はカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)までキャプテンを務めていたFWエデン・アザールが代表チームから引退し、3月の代表ウィークからはその座をマンチェスター・シティのMFケビン・デ・ブライネが引き継いでいる。
そのデ・ブライネはチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)決勝戦・インテル戦で負傷交代した影響で、17日に行われたユーロ2024予選・グループF第3節のオーストリア代表戦は不在。代わりにインテルのFWロメル・ルカクがキャプテンマークを巻いて先発フル出場した。
クルトワはこの決定が気に入らなかったようで、なんと翌18日夜の全体ミーティングに参加せず。ドメニコ・デデスコ監督はオーストリア代表戦はルカク、20日の第4節・エストニア代表戦をクルトワにキャプテンを任せることで両選手と合意していたものの、クルトワは2試合とも自らが適任だと考えていたという。
怒りに拍車をかけたのが、オーストリア代表戦で1-1のドローに終わったという事実。クルトワは試合後、一部のチームメイトに烈火のごとく厳しい言葉を投げかけたといい、クルトワのこの行為そのものはよくある光景だそうだが、チームの集まりに姿を現さなかったことで、チームメイトたちも試合結果以外で何か不満を抱えていると気づき始めたようだ。
クルトワ本人はオーストリア代表戦で軽傷を負ったとのことで、エストニア代表戦の出場は不透明。この問題の解決はデデスコ監督の対応にかかっているとみられている。

28日、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)決勝のリバプールvsレアル・マドリーがパリのスタッド・ドゥ・フランスで行われ、0-1で勝利を収めたマドリーが4年ぶり14度目の戴冠を果たした。
今シーズンの欧州王者を決める戦いには、各界のスターたちも観戦に訪れたが、その1人がNBAのユタ・ジャズに所属しているルディ・ゴベアだ。
216cmの高身長を武器にNBA最優秀守備選手賞にも選ばれているゴベアは、優勝直後のピッチに降り立つと、マドリーの選手たちと記念撮影。GKティボー・クルトワ、MFエデン・アザール、FWカリム・ベンゼマとそれぞれ2ショット写真も撮影した。
ゴベアは自身のインスタグラムでそれらの写真を投稿しているが、あまりのサイズにファンが衝撃。特に、CL決勝でも200cmの身長をいかして好セーブを見せたクルトワとの並びには、「クルトワですら小さく見える」、「200cmのクルトワが小さく見えてしまう衝撃」と驚きの様子だ。
その他にも「でっかぁ」、「大きすぎる」、「アザールだって小さいわけじゃないのに」、「コラ画像にしか見えない」といった声が上がっており、アスリートの中でも大きいゴベアのサイズに中々理解が追いつかないようだ。

ベルギー代表GKティボー・クルトワが、チームの不仲説を否定している。
FIFAランキング2位で優勝候補と目されていたベルギーは、初戦のカナダ戦は勝利したものの、続くモロッコ戦は2失点の完封負けを喫し、残り1試合で3位に位置。勝利必須の最終節の相手は前回大会のファイナリストであるクロアチアという厳しい状況に立たされている。
それに呼応するようにベルギー代表は現在、空中分解寸前と言われている。ベルギー『RTL』によれb、あモロッコ戦の後、ケビン・デ・ブライネとヤン・フェルトンゲン、エデン・アザールが口論となり、ロメル・ルカクが割って入るという事件が勃発。
ただ、そのルカクもミッチー・バチュアイと仲が悪く、デ・ブライネはティボー・クルトワと数年ものあいだ口をきいていない状態。エデン・アザールとレアンドロ・トロサールも互いを避ける関係なのだという。
そんな中、12月1日に控えるクロアチア戦に向けた会見に出席したクルトワが不仲説を否定。チーム内で言い争いがあることは普通のことだと主張し、噂は誰かのでっち上げたことだと断言した。

レアル・マドリーのスペイン代表MFダニエル・カルバハル(30)が、モデルのダフネ・カニサレスさん(32)と結婚した。
マドリーの育成組織出身の30歳は、2012-13シーズンにレバークーゼンでのプレーを経て、翌年以降はマドリーを支え続けてきた。今季は2シーズンぶり35回目のラ・リーガ制覇や14回目のチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)優勝にも貢献している。
クラブの歴史をまた1つ積み上げたカルバハルは、24日、モデルのダフネ・カニサレスさん(32)と結婚。招かれた約250人の前で愛を誓い合った。式にはチームメイトや関係者などが招かれ、ゲストの中にはベルギー代表GKティボー・クルトワ夫妻の姿もあった。
2人には1歳半になる息子のマルティンくんがいる。スペイン『HOLA』によれば、カニサレスさんは元客室乗務員のオランダ系のスペイン人モデルで、現在は結婚式や社交イベントの企画をする会社のオーナーだ。
また自身もウエディング・プランナーであり、2人の式は彼女が出かけたとのことだ。カニサレスさんには双子の姉妹メラニーさんがおり、アラベスでプレーするFWホセルと結婚している。

▽チェルシーのベルギー代表GKティボー・クルトワは、チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)決勝でのリバプールGKロリス・カリウスのミスの原因が脳震盪であったという見解について「奇妙だ」語っている。『ESPN』が伝えた。
▽先月26日に行われたレアル・マドリーとのCL決勝戦、カリウスはスローイングミスからマドリーFWカリム・ベンゼマに先制点を与え、マドリーFWガレス・ベイルの強烈なシュートを正面で受けつつも弾き出せず3点目を献上。信じられないミスの連続に非難の声が集まっていた。
▽そんな中、試合後に脳の検査を行ったカリウスは、試合中に脳震盪が起こっていたことが判明した。医師によれば、原因は後半立ち上がりのマドリーDFセルヒオ・ラモスによる肘打ちとのこと。ベンゼマのゴールはその3分後に生まれている。
▽しかし、クルトワはこの見解に疑問符を投げかけた。カリウスのミスには同情の色を表したが、脳震盪のせいにすることに懐疑的な目を向けている。
「僕も試合中に脳震盪になったことがあるよ。アレクシス・サンチェスとの接触でね。その後20分はボールがよく見えていなかった。だからゲームから退いたんだ」
「彼に起こったことは残念だけど、そのミスを脳震盪を理由にするのはどうかな。彼は素晴らしいセーブを2回も見せていたじゃないか」
「もしそれが理由だって言うんなら、そうなんだろうね。彼は試合後に2つのミスを認めた。人々はそれを受け入れるだろう。GKには起こりうるものだ。だけど、それを脳震盪のせいにするのはちょっと納得がいかないね。でもそういうふうに医者が言うんだったら認めるしかないね」
