6月14日にドイツで開幕するユーロでも優勝候補と目され、挑むフランス。2000年大会以来の欧州制覇を目指すなか、25選手のメンバーリストを公表した。
そのなかで、エンゴロ・カンテがサプライズ復帰に。現在はサウジアラビアでプレーする33歳MFだが、2022年6月以来の代表返り咲きを果たしている。
また、パリ・サンジェルマンで台頭を遂げるブラッドリー・バルコラが初選出。負傷中のリュカ・エルナンデスの代わりはフェルラン・メンディとなった。

「鶏デカすぎ」「ケンタッキーとのコラボか?」フランス代表の新ユニフォームにはビッグサイズのロゴが採用「巨大すぎない?」
