▽6月14日から7月15日までの約1カ月間に渡って開催されていたロシア・ワールドカップ(W杯)は、フランスの20年ぶり2度目の優勝で幕を閉じた。大会を通じて多くの選手が輝いた中、FIFAは今大会のベストイレブンを選出した。
▽[4-2-3-1]の布陣が採用された中、GKにはフランス代表キャプテンのGKウーゴ・ロリスがベルギー代表GKティボー・クルトワ、イングランド代表GKジョーダン・ピックフォードらを抑えて選出された。

ポグバがユベントスとの契約解除に合意…11月末での退団が決定
ユベントスは15日、元フランス代表MFポール・ポグバ(31)との契約を2024年11月30日をもって双方合意の下で解除することで合意に行ったことを発表した。 2023年8月にドーピング疑惑が浮上し、当初は4年間の出場停止処分が科せられたポグバ。しかし、「故意ではなかった」という訴えが認められ、処分期間が18カ月まで短縮となり、来年3月に活動再開が認められることになった。 その後、ポグバはイタリア『ガゼッタ・デッロ・スポルト』のインタビューで｢今の僕の焦点は再びユーベのユニフォームを着ること｣と復帰希望を明言していたが、復帰を望まないユベントス側は違約金なしでの放出を考えており、2026年まで契約を残すポグバと話し合いを重ねていた。 ユベントスは退団するポグバに対し、｢クラブは、ポールのプロフェッショナルとしての未来がより素晴らしいものになることを祈っている｣との声明を発表している。 なお、フリーで新天地を探すことになるポグバには、フランス代表でチームメイトだったGKウーゴ・ロリス、FWオリヴィエ・ジルーが所属するメジャーリーグ・サッカー(MLS)のロサンゼルスFCや、サウジアラビアのクラブが関心を示している。 2024.11.16 06:00 Sat

「言い訳はしたくない」東京五輪敗退のフランス代表FWジニャックが振り返る「相手が自分たちよりも強かった」

「もう戻れないところまで来ている」主力選手との不和が明るみに出たフランス女子代表監督がW杯4カ月前に解任
今年7月にオーストラリア&ニュージーランドで女子ワールドカップ(W杯)が開催される中、フランス女子代表のコリーヌ・ディアクル監督(48)が解任された。フランスサッカー連盟(FFF)が発表した。 近年力をつけてきているフランス女子代表。W杯では3大会連続でベスト8以上の成績を残した一方で、2021年の東京オリンピックは予選敗退で参加できず。それでも、2022年の女子ユーロでは3位の成績を残していた。 今夏の女子W杯でも期待された中、代表チーム内では不協和音が。キャプテンを務めるDFワンディ・ルナールが代表引退を電撃発表。監督との軋轢が問題とされると、フランス女子代表で100キャップ以上を数えるFWカディディアトゥ・ディアニやマリー・アントワネット・カトトもこれを支持することを表明していた。 主力選手と監督の間の問題にFFFが介入。多くのヒアリングを執行委員会が実施。その結果、選手たちとの間に大きなギャップがあることが判明。そのことが浮き彫りとなり、「代表チームとして有害であり、もう戻れないところまで来ている」と発表された。 その結果、FFFはディアクル監督の任務遂行への真剣な取り組みを認識している一方で、チームが機能不全を起こしていることを見過ごせないとし、解任することを決定したと発表した。 なお、後任監督は未定だが、フィリップ・ディアロ暫定会長は後任候補者との速やかな面談を行うことを要請したという。 また、今回は監督が解任される結果となったが、選手たちがとったボイコットの手段についても苦言を呈している。 「委員会はまた、選手が批判を表明するために使用した方法は、将来的にはもはや受け入れられないことに留意した」 2023.03.09 23:20 Thu
