ユーロ2024を控えるフランス代表GKマイク・メニャンが指を負傷したようだ。フランス『レキップ』が報じている。

レ・ブルー歴代最多出場記録保持者であるウーゴ・ロリスの代表引退以降、ディディエ・デシャン監督率いるチームの守護神を務めるメニャン。そして、来月には守護神として臨む最初の大舞台であるユーロ本大会が控える。

しかし、その大舞台を前に同選手は新たなケガを負った模様だ。
外転筋の負傷で直近のリーグ戦4試合を欠場していたメニャンは、セリエA最終節のサレルニターナ戦の復帰に向けて調整を進めていたが、このトレーニング中に指を負傷したという。

現時点で負傷箇所や程度は不明だが、状態を確認するために精密検査を受けることになるという。
なお、デシャン監督は6月7日までに大会の登録メンバーを決定する必要があり、メニャンとしてはそれまでに何とか間に合わせたいところだ。

ミランに朗報!年内絶望と思われたメニャンが次節にも復帰か

ウディネーゼは、先週末のミラン戦で人種差別的行為を働いた不届きなファンに対して、永久のスタジアム入場禁止処分を科す意向だ。イタリア『ANSA通信』が伝えている。 20日に行われたセリエA第21節のウディネーゼvsミランでは、3-2の逆転勝利を飾ったミランの守護神マイク・メニャンが、ホームサポーターの人種差別チャントの被害に遭った。 前半半ば過ぎの先制直後にホームサポーターから人種差別チャントの標的となったメニャンは周囲に被害をアピール。その後も愚行は治まらず、同選手は抗議のため一時ピッチを去る形に。また、ドレッシングルームに向かう前に主審に警告し、チームメイトも続いてドレッシングルームに下がって試合が一時中断となった。 この一件に関して、国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)のジャンニ・インファンティーノ会長は、ファンが人種差別的虐待を行ったチームの不戦敗の可能性を含めてより厳しい処分を主張するなど大きな問題に発展している。 そういったなか、ウディネーゼでゼネラル・マネージャーを務めるフランコ・コッラヴィーノ氏は、記者団の取材に対して人種差別行為が特定されたファンに関して永久のスタジアム入場禁止処分を科す意向があることを語った。 「司法当局が課す可能性のあるダスポ(スポーツイベントでの禁令)のスタジアム入場禁止は期間が限られているが、我々はこれらの人種差別主義者をスタジアムから生涯排除するよう努める」 なお、ウディネーゼは事件発生の翌日に「人種差別と暴力のあらゆる行為を深く遺憾し、非難する。事件の即時解明に向けてあらゆる捜査当局と協力する」との声明を発表しており、今後の捜査でメニャンを侮辱した当該行為者が特定された後、しかるべき処分が科されることになる。 2024.01.23 07:00 Tue

王者は初心忘れず…フランス代表が初めて在籍したアマクラブのユニで記念撮影

「W杯を感じない」「いまいち」フランス代表のW杯ユニフォームがシンプルすぎて不評、PRに起用したラッパーには不快感「理解できない」

「史上最高のセーブ」「神の脚」アルゼンチン代表GKマルティネスが優勝呼び込むセーブの左脚にW杯トロフィーのタトゥー…しかし注目は4本に見える指に「どこに行った?」
