代表引退の名古屋GKランゲラックが復帰、トーマス・デンは4年ぶり招集! オーストラリア代表メンバーが発表《国際親善試合》

オーストラリアサッカー協会(FFA)は14日、国際親善試合に臨むオーストラリア代表メンバー31名を発表した。

大陸間プレーオフを制し、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)の出場権を獲得したオーストラリア。今回は6名の初招集選手をメンバーに含めた。

さらに、DFトーマス・デン(アルビレックス新潟 )を2018年以来となる招集。また、代表引退を発表していたGKミッチェル・ランゲラック(名古屋グランパス)も招集している。その他、FWミッチェル・デューク(ファジアーノ岡山)、FWアダム・タガート(セレッソ大阪)が招集され、Jリーグからは4名が招集された。
オーストラリアは22日にホームでと25日にアウェイでニュージーランド代表と2試合を戦う。

元イタリア代表ディアマンティが引退表明、ユーロ2012準優勝メンバーでACLでも得点「ファンの愛が僕にとって最高の戦果」

オーストラリアサッカー連盟(FFA)は9日、MFマーク・ミリガン(34)がオーストラリア代表からの引退を申し入れたことを発表した。 FFAによると、9日にオーストラリア代表のチームメイトやスタッフに引退の決断が伝えられたとのこと。代表通算80キャップで6ゴールを記録したミリガンはワールドカップ4大会でメンバーに選ばれていた。 ミリガンは「この14年間でサッカルーズ(オーストラリア代表の愛称)に関わることは特別なことだった」と語り、「その間、国を代表できたことは、夢見たものを超越しています」とコメントした。 また、代表キャリアについては「常に順風満帆ではなかった」と語り、「オーストラリアのスーパースターだらけのチームに入ることはいつも難しかった。ただ、チャンスを与えられた」と代表招集当初を回想。「オーストラリアの黄金世代の選手たちと関わり、彼らから学んだことが、僕にとって感謝してもしきれないプレゼントとなった」と、レジェンドたちとのプレーから得たものが大きかったと語った。 様々な監督の下でプレーしたミリガンは「素晴らしい監督の下でプレーできて幸運だった」とコメント。「最初に僕をサッカルーズのメンバーに入れてくれたフース・ヒディング、僕の夢を叶えてくれたピム・ファーベークに感謝します」と自身を代表に導いた2人の名将に感謝した。 また、「最初にキャプテンマークを渡してくれたホルガー・オジェックにも感謝します。ワールドカップで初めて起用してくれたアンジェ・ポステコグルーに感謝します。アジアカップ決勝でプレーする機会をくれ、アンジェはクラブと代表の両方で僕に色々と教えてくれた」と、現在は横浜F・マリノスの指揮を執るポステコグルー監督への感謝も伝えた。 近年は監督が多く変更していたオーストラリアだが「短い間だったが、信頼を寄せてくれた、ベルト・ファン・マルヴァイク、マルク・ファン・ボメルにも感謝します。そしてグラハム・アーノルドも、僕を1年間キャプテンに指名してくれました」と、自身が関わった全ての監督に感謝の気持ちを述べている。 ミリガンは、ノーザン・スピリットやブラックタウン・シティ、シドニーFC、ニューカッスル・ジェッツなど国内のチームでプレー。2009年1月に中国の上海申花へ加入すると、2010年1月にはジェフユナイテッド千葉に加入。2シーズンを過ごし、2012年1月にメルボルン・ビクトリーへ移籍した。 その後は、UAEのバーニヤースは、サウジアラビアのアル・アハリ、スコットランドのハイバーニアンでプレーし、今年7月からリーグ1(イングランド3部)のサウスエンド・ユナイテッドでプレーしている。 2019.12.09 16:50 Mon

豪州FWに「英語を話せないふりをした」とユニ交換拒否揶揄されたジルーがナイスな反応!

国民の約半数が観戦? 女子W杯開催国オーストラリア、準決勝のTV視聴者数が過去最高を記録、ピーク時は1115万人にも!
