絶対女王アメリカ、オランダ戦ドローでW杯連勝記録は止まるも無敗記録継続!男女通じて歴代最長「19」に

アメリカ女子代表のワールドカップ(W杯)におけるある記録が止まり、ある記録が更新された。アメリカは27日、オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子W杯グループE第2節でオランダ女子代表とウェリントン・リージョナル・スタジアムで対戦。2019年フランス大会決勝の再現カードとなった一戦は、日本審判団の山下良美主審、坊薗真琴副審、手代木直美副審が担当した。

過去4度の優勝を誇り、史上初の3連覇を目指すアメリカは、初戦のベトナム女子代表戦に3-0で勝利。2015年カナダ大会から続く、自身の持つW杯連勝記録を「13」に伸ばしていた。
だが、この試合では17分にジル・ルート(ヴォルフスブルク→マンチェスター・シティ)の先制弾を浴び、ビハインドで折り返すことに。なお、アメリカ『NBC10フィラデルフィア』によれば、絶対女王がビハインドで前半を終えるのは、W杯では52試合中6度目だったとのことだ。

それでも、62分にCKからリンジー・ホラン(リヨン)がヘディングで同点ゴールを挙げると、直後にはアレックス・モーガン(サンディエゴ・ウエーブ)もネットを揺らす。だが、後者はオフサイドで逆転には至らず、そのまま1-1ドローでタイムアップを迎えた。
この結果、連勝記録はストップ。ただ、2011年ドイツ大会から続く無敗記録は「19」に伸びた(PK戦は引き分け扱い)。アメリカ『CNN』や『CBS』によれば、これは男女通じてもW杯最長記録とのことだ。

グループEの最終節は8月1日に行われ、アメリカは初出場のポルトガル女子代表と対戦。ノックアウトステージ進出を懸けるとともに、どこまで記録を伸ばせるかにも注目が集まる。

Jリーグ史上初、女性3名の審判団がJ1上位対決の横浜FMvs名古屋を担当

京都が中指を立てたアピアタウィア久への1週間のチーム練習参加禁止を発表、心のコントロールのため特別研修も受講へ

イラン司令官空爆の影響でアメリカ代表のカタール合宿が延期へ

女子選手の意見を参考に配慮し白パンツを中止、ナイキが女子W杯出場13カ国の新ユニフォームを発表!

ドノバン、クリンスマン監督の戦術を非難
