データおよびテクノロジーにおけるリーディングカンパニーの「ニールセン・グレースノート」が、オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場する選手のインフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表した。なでしこジャパンも出場する女子W杯。開幕までおよそ1カ月となった中で、各国の出場選手も決定している。「ニールセン・グレースノート」は出場する選手の中での、インフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表。フォロワーやフォロワーの増加、エンゲージメント率など、インスタグラム上の投稿ごとの平均ブランド価値を評価してランキングを発表した。トップ10が発表され、実に9カ国の選手がランクイン。アメリカ女子代表のみが唯一2選手がランクインしている。 1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。アストン・ビラでは2シーズンでFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で43試合に出場し7ゴール。スイス代表としても38キャップを記録している。 2位には、バルセロナのエースでありスペイン女子代表のエースでもあるMFアレクシア・プテジャス。フォロワーは280万人であり、1位のレーマンがどれほどのフォロワーを抱えているかがわかる。 2シーズン連続でUEFA年間最優秀女子選手、バロンドールを受賞。2021年にはFIFA最優秀女子選手賞を受賞している。 国際サッカー評議会(IFAB)は2日、監督が判定に異議を申し立てる機会を与える代替VARシステムであるフットボール・ビデオ・サポート(FVS)の拡大試験を承認した。『ESPN』が伝えている。アメリカのメジャースポーツやテニス、プロ野球などではお馴染みの判定に異議を申し立てる“リクエスト”、“チャレンジ”制度。サッカー界においてもその導入を求める声が挙がっていたなか、今年のFIFA U-20女子ワールドカップ、FIFA U-17女子ワールドカップで試験導入されていたFVSは、3月にIFABからビデオ・アシスタント・レフェリー(VAR)の費用対効果の高い代替手段として試験のゴーサインが出されていた。国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)の審判委員会のピエルルイジ・コリーナ委員長は先月『ESPN』に対し、ロンドンで開催されるIFABの年次総会で、より多くの大会で試験運用を行うよう申請する予定であると語っていたという。 FVSはVAR担当を務める審判員のみがレビューを監督および管理するのではなく、監督がミスがあったと感じた場合、試合ごとに最大2回まで異議を申し立てる機会が監督者に与えられる。現在、このシステムは、プレミアリーグのようなトップリーグではなく、理想的にはカメラが4台以下の、リソースの少ないリーグでのみ使用されることを想定している。これは、使用されるスタジアムの規模や種類が多岐にわたるため、VARの使用に問題がある女子スーパーリーグのような大会で使用できる可能性があるという。前述のコリーナ氏はその狙いや運用について以下のように説明している。「我々はまだ試行の始まりであり、U-20とU-17のFIFA 女子ワールドカップでの経験を慎重に分析する予定だが、今のところ予想外のことは何も見られていない」「FVSがVARではないことを明確にすることは、特に予測の面で重要だ。カメラの数が限られているため、FVSではVARが示すことができるものを示すことができない。オフサイドがその一例だ。カメラが適切に配置されていないと、明らかなオフサイドしか見分けられない。そのため、フィールド上の判定も重要になる」「FVSは、理想的には4台から5台の限られたカメラセットアップで機能するように設計されている。カメラの数が増えると、すべての映像と利用可能な角度を確認するプロセスが非常に長くなる可能性がある。これは、VARとは異なり、審判が見るためにそれらのクリップを選択するビデオ・マッチオフィシャルがいないためだ」 FVSでは、監督が判定に異議を唱え、審判がピッチの脇に行き、事象のリプレイを確認する。VARとは異なり、ビデオをキューに入れるリプレイ・オペレーターのみが存在。その後、審判は単独で自分の判定を評価し、事前に明白で明らかな誤りを犯したことを知らされないという。また、IFABではゴールキーパーがボールを長く保持しすぎることに対処するトライアルの更新も提示され、相手がボールをコントロールしてから8秒以上保持された場合、相手にコーナーまたはスローイン(2つの別々のトライアル)が与えられる。「カテゴリー1」のアカデミーを持つ25クラブによる大会であるプレミアリーグ2も、このトライアルに参加している。また、キャプテンのみが審判と話すことができるトライアル、長時間のVARチェックとVARレビュー後の公開アナウンスを含むトライアル、半自動オフサイド技術に関する開発、審判のボディカメラの使用についても議論されている。来年3月1日のIFAB年次総会では、これらのトライアルに関する次の決定が行われ、来年7月から発効する規則の修正が確認される。 2024.12.03 12:00 Tue

日本も招致を目指した女子W杯、2031年、2035年は招致不可能に…宮本恒靖会長「非常に残念な知らせです」

国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は5日、理事会を開催し、2031年、2035年の女子ワールドカップ(W杯)に関して開催要件の概要を発表した。日本も招致を目指していた女子W杯。2023年にオーストラリアとニュージーランドが共催で開催。2027年はブラジルで開催されることが決定している。そんな中、FIFAの理事会は2031年と2035年に関して決定事項を発表。2031年に関しては、アフリカ(CAF)およびCOCACAF(北中米カリブ海)のどちらかから立候補を募ることが決定。また、2035年はCAFかヨーロッパ(UEFA)からの立候補を募ることとなった。これにより、アジア(AFC)に属する日本では最短でも2039年大会まで開催がなくなることが決定している。この発表を受け、日本サッカー協会(JFA)の宮本恒靖会長がコメントをしている。「先般のFIFAカウンシル会議の内容を確認しています。2031年のFIFA女子ワールドカップ招致を目指していた私たちには非常に残念な知らせです。しかし、今回の決定にかかわらず、日本で女子サッカーを拡大していく、女子サッカーの人口を増やし、競技レベルの向上を目指していく考えに変わりはありません」「間違いなく、良い流れがある今、2039年以降の女子ワールドカップ招致も視野に入れながら、ニールセン監督が率いるなでしこジャパンをはじめ、あらゆる年代の女子代表を世界一を目指して戦えるチームにしていくこと、全国各地で女子サッカーの環境を整えていくことに引き続き取り組んでいきます。これからも全国の関係者の皆さんで歩みを揃えていきましょう」なでしこジャパンは2011年のドイツ女子W杯で初優勝。そこから優勝はない中で、2025年から初めての外国人監督であるニルス・ニールセン監督を迎えて始動。初の活動となったSheBelives Cupでは、オーストラリア女子代表、コロンビア女子代表、アメリカ女子代表を下し、大会初優勝を飾っていた。 2025.03.06 15:22 Thu
