データおよびテクノロジーにおけるリーディングカンパニーの「ニールセン・グレースノート」が、オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場する選手のインフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表した。
なでしこジャパンも出場する女子W杯。開幕までおよそ1カ月となった中で、各国の出場選手も決定している。
「ニールセン・グレースノート」は出場する選手の中での、インフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表。フォロワーやフォロワーの増加、エンゲージメント率など、インスタグラム上の投稿ごとの平均ブランド価値を評価してランキングを発表した。
トップ10が発表され、実に9カ国の選手がランクイン。アメリカ女子代表のみが唯一2選手がランクインしている。
1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。
アストン・ビラでは2シーズンでFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で43試合に出場し7ゴール。スイス代表としても38キャップを記録している。
2位には、バルセロナのエースでありスペイン女子代表のエースでもあるMFアレクシア・プテジャス。フォロワーは280万人であり、1位のレーマンがどれほどのフォロワーを抱えているかがわかる。

国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)のジャンニ・インファンティーノ会長が、女子ワールドカップ(W杯)について立候補国を明かした。
2031年と2035年の開催地の立候補を募っていたFIFA。3月に行われた理事会で2031年はアフリカ(CAF)およびCOCACAF(北中米カリブ海)、2035年はCAFかヨーロッパ(UEFA)での開催が決定。招致を目指していた日本は断念せざるを得ない状況となっていた。
そんな中、FIFAは3日にセルビアのベオグラードで第49回通常総会を開催。インファンティーノ会長が女子W杯の立候補について明かした。
2031年、2035年ともに1件の立候補があったとのこと。2031年はアメリカが立候補し、他のCONCACAF加盟国も参加する可能性があるという。
また、2035年はイングランド、北アイルランド、スコットランド、ウェールズがイギリスとして立候補したとのことだ。
前回大会の2023年はオーストラリアとニュージーランドが共催。2027年はブラジルで開催されることが決まっている。

アストン・ビラのスイス女子代表FWアリーシャ・レーマンのオフショットが視線を集めている。
レーマンはヤングボーイズの女子チームでトップチームキャリアをスタートさせ、2017年10月22日に長野Uスタジアムで行われたなでしこジャパン戦にて、当時18歳で代表デビューを果たした。
その後はイングランドのFA 女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)、ウェストハムに加入し、エバートンへの期限付き移籍を経て現在はアストン・ビラに所属している。
インスタグラムのフォロワーは1000万人を超え、自身のオフィシャルカレンダーも販売しているレーマン。現在はFAWSLの冬季中断を利用し、フロリダ州のマイアミビーチでオフを過ごしているようだ。
レーマンは1週間にわたって黒やピンクのビキニ姿を投稿。砂浜を歩く姿や波打ち際で寝そべる姿など多様なポーズでファンを魅了した。
リゾートからの一枚には「十分な写真。トレーニングに戻る!!」、「完璧なスタイル!」、「美しい素晴らしい」、「素敵な光景」、「美しい女神ミューズ」などのコメントが多数寄せられている。
スイスもオーストラリア&ニュージーランドワールドカップ(W杯)の出場権を獲得しており、グループAに割り当てられた。なでしこジャパンが決勝トーナメント進出を果たした場合は対戦する可能性もあり、プライベートとサッカーの両面で注目を集めている。

なでしこジャパンのMF猶本光(三菱重工浦和レッズレディース)の奇跡の1枚が話題だ。
20日に開幕するオーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)に臨むなでしこジャパン。14日に行われたMS&ADカップのパナマ女子代表戦に完勝した後、15日に出国し、ニュージーランドのクライストチャーチで調整を行っている。
その中、猶本が練習中の写真をSNSで公開。「ポニーテールしてみました」といつもとは違う髪の毛を結んだ姿を披露。大会を前にイメチェンをしたと思われた。
ただ、よくよく見ると猶本の後ろには別の選手が。偶然髪の毛が重なったことでポニーテールのように見えていたのだ。
たまにあることではあるが、完璧な構図での写真に猶本自身も「#奇跡の一枚」とハッシュタグで驚いていた。
これには、チームメイトのMF長谷川唯(マンチェスター・シティ)も「ほんとにそう見えた」と反応。ファンからも「似合ってます」、「可愛すぎる」、「新鮮」、「完全にやられたぁ〜」、「髪の毛伸ばしてるのかな」といった声が上がっており、勘違いした人が続出した模様だ。
