アメリカサッカー連盟とメキシコサッカー連盟は30日、2027年の女子ワールドカップ(W杯)の招致に関して、立候補を取り下げることを発表した。なお、2031年のW杯招致に動くという。
2023年にオーストラリアとニュージーランドの共催で行われ、スペイン女子代表が初優勝を果たしていた。
2026年にはアメリカ、メキシコ、カナダの共催で男子のW杯が開催。32チームから48チームに出場国が拡大して行われる。
その翌年に女子W杯を開催しようとしていたが、今回は立候補を撤回。代わりに、2031年の女子W杯を男子と同等の投資をして開催を目指すと発表した。
「今回の修正された入札により、2026年の男子W杯の教訓と成功を踏まえ、さらに開催都市への支援を強化し、パートナーシップやメディア契約を拡大。さらにファンとの交流を深め、2031年に記録破りの大会を開催できるようにします」
開催地は5月17日にタイのバンコクで開催されるFIFA総会で開催国が選定される。

女子選手の意見を参考に配慮し白パンツを中止、ナイキが女子W杯出場13カ国の新ユニフォームを発表!

22歳FWがアメリカ代表史上初の2戦連続ハットトリック!総数でもドノバン氏に並びトップタイに

アメリカサッカー協会が10歳以下のヘディングを禁止
▽アメリカサッカー連盟(USSF)は、選手の安全面を考える措置として、10歳以下の子供たちのヘディングを禁止するとの声明を発表した。 ▽アメリカでは、脳震盪や頭部への外傷などが問題視されており、今回の声明で10歳以下の子供たちのヘディングを禁止するとともに、11歳～13歳までの子供には回数制限を設けることも発表している。 ▽今回の制限対象になるのは、USSFが管理する代表チームやアカデミー、メジャーリーグ・サッカーに所属するクラブのユースチームの選手であり、一般のプレーヤーには適応されない。なお、今回の制限を採用するかどうかは、個々の団体に任せるとしているが、USSFの医療委員会は導入を推奨するとのことだ。 2015.11.11 16:19 Wed
