カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)ではグループステージで敗退となったベルギー。ロベルト・マルティネス監督が退任し、公募の結果、ドメニコ・テデスコ監督が就任した。
新体制で臨むユーロ予選。FWエデン・アザール(レアル・マドリー)やDFトビー・アルデルヴァイレルト(ロイヤル・アントワープ)らが代表引退を発表していた。
今回のメンバーにはGKティボー・クルトワ(レアル・マドリー)やDFヤン・ヴェルトンゲン(アンデルレヒト)、MFケビン・デ・ブライネ(マンチェスター・シティ)、FWロメル・ルカク(インテル)などが招集を受けている。

レアルDFが結婚式! 相手はモデルで双子のウエディング・プランナー、チームメイトも参列し祝福

頭部同士が激しく激突、動けず12分間も治療…担架で運ばれたイングランド女子代表DFにはスタンドから拍手

「凄く好き」「一番酷い」賛否両論の物議醸すベルギーの“斬新すぎる”W杯アウェイユニ、カラーリングに非難が「オランダじゃない?」
