ブラジル代表8名が週末のプレミアリーグで出場禁止、チアゴ・シウバやフレッジは来週のCLも欠場

ブラジル代表の活動に参加した8名の選手が、今週末のプレミアリーグでのプレーが不可能となった。

今回の事態は、ブラジルサッカー連盟(CBF)が国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)の規則を発動。インターナショナルマッチウィークの終了後、5日間の出場停止が課されるとなる。

ブラジルでは、プレミアリーグがレッドリスト国への渡航を禁止したにも関わらず、8名の選手がプレーしていた。
今回出場停止を受けるのは、チェルシーのDFチアゴ・シウバ、マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのMFフレッジ、リバプールのFWロベルト・フィルミノ、MFファビーニョ、GKアリソン・ベッカー、マンチェスター・シティのGKエデルソン、FWガブリエウ・ジェズス、リーグ・ユナイテッドのFWラフィーニャの8名となった。

なお、エバートンのFWリシャルリソンに関しては、東京オリンピックへの出場をエバートンが許可してくれたことを受け、特別な許可を出したとされている。
イギリスのルールでは、レッドリスト国へと渡航した選手は、10日間の隔離措置が必要となるため、リーグ全会一致で派遣しないことを決めていた。

しかし、ブラジル以外にもアルゼンチン代表にはGKエミリアーノ・マルティネス、MFエミリアーノ・ブエンディアのアストン・ビラ勢や、DF クリスティアン・ロメロ、MFジオバニ・ロ・チェルソのトッテナム勢もがおり、トッテナムの2名はクラブの規律を違反したとして処分される予定だ。

また、メキシコやパラグアイ、チリでも同様のことが起きており、FWラウール・ヒメネス(ウォルバーハンプトン)、MFミゲル・アルミロン(ニューカッスル)、DFフランシスコ・シエルラルタ(ワトフォード)は週末の試合が出場できない。

なお、チェルシーのチアゴ・シウバは週末以外にも、14日に行われるチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)のゼニト戦を欠場。フレッジは同じくCLのヤング・ボーイズ戦に出場できない。

FIFAのジャンニ・インファンティーノ会長は、かつて選手がレッドリストの国に行くことになっても、代表チームでプレーできるようにイギリス政府に免除措置を要請していたが、認められなかった。

なお、10月、11月にも同様の事態は予想されており、FIFAは要請を続けて行くことになるとのこと。プレミアリーグも対応を考えるとしている。

チアゴ・シウバがネイマールに苦言「侮辱された」

ロナウドが日韓W杯での“大五郎カット”を謝罪、奇抜な髪型の裏事情とは?

カカ、再婚相手の妊娠を発表! 奥さんは13歳年下の美人モデル
