史上初、バルセロナ主将のプテジャスが女子バロンドールを連覇! 64ゴールに絡む大活躍

「正気かい?」バルサ女子の行動に賛否!リフティングチャレンジに食物使用「かわいそうなレタス」「絶望的で気持ち悪い」

「まだ改善の余地がある」連勝スタートも気を引き締めるトゥヘル監督…「少し幸運だった」ベリンガム交代理由も説明
新指揮官就任から連勝スタートを飾ったイングランド代表のトーマス・トゥヘル監督だが、チームにさらなる改善を求めた。 イングランドは24日、2026年北中米ワールドカップ(W杯)欧州予選グループK第2節でラトビア代表と対戦し、3-0で快勝した。 2-0で勝利した初陣のアルバニア代表戦から先発4人を変更して臨んだホームゲーム。前半は後ろ重心のアウェイチームの堅守を前に攻めあぐねたが、前半38分にDFリース・ジェームズが代表初ゴールとなる見事な直接FKを決めて先制に成功。 1点リードで折り返した後半も守備的な戦い方を継続した相手に苦戦も、68分にFWハリー・ケインの2試合連続ゴール。76分には途中出場のMFエベレチ・エゼに代表初ゴールが生まれ、終わってみれば3-0の勝利となった。 同試合後、ドイツ人指揮官は「簡単な試合ではなかった」とピンチこそなかったものの、攻撃面で手を焼いた一戦を振り返った。イギリス『スカイ・スポーツ』が伝えている。 「まだ改善の余地がある」 「しかし、クリーンシートでの2連勝。相手に大きなチャンスを作らせなかったという部分では、多くのポジティブな点がある。チャンスをモノにするにはフリーキックが必要だった。姿勢、エネルギー、意欲に満足している。それがあれば必ずや勝利できる」 また、先制点をチームにもたらしたチェルシー時代の教え子については「彼のキックとクオリティが素晴らしいことはわかっていた」とその活躍に目を細めた。 「彼は自分のパフォーマンスに誇りと喜びと満足を感じる権利がある。彼は素晴らしい状態だ。招集したとき、彼がそれほど多くの試合に出場していないことはわかっていたが、それはケガのせいではないこともわかっていた。彼ら(チェルシー)は彼を大事にし、管理していた。彼はシャープで体調も良く、クオリティに関して疑いの余地はない」 さらに、フル出場で2点目の起点となるなど攻撃の起点として機能したFWモーガン・ロジャーズについては「全体的に彼に満足している」とそのパフォーマンスを評価。 トップ下とサイドと2つのポジションでの起用となったなか、「我々が優勢な試合では、サイドでプレーする方が彼には向いていると思う。彼をサイドに配置すると、より自由を感じ、ダイナミックな動きを身につけることができる。ハーフスペースよりも少しだけスペースがあった。選手のことや試合のことを学ぶことができるので興味深いし、それは良いことだ」と、今後に向けて自身にとっても選手にとっても良いトライになったと感じている。 一方で、後半半ばにベンチへ下げたMFジュード・ベリンガムに関しては「我々は少し幸運だった」と、2枚目の警告で退場の可能性も十二分にあり得た状況のなかでリスク回避のために交代させたことを認めている。 「ジュード・ベリンガムの状況では、何が起きてもおかしくなく、突然イエローカードやレッドカードが出る可能性がある」 「そうなるとすべてがひっくり返る可能性があり、ベンチから交代を決めた。ただ、最初のイエローカードはちょっと厳しかったと思う」 「一方で、2枚目(後半序盤のアフターチャージ)はイエローカードになる可能性があった。彼にとって厳しかったが、すぐに交代させた」 「私の見立てでは、少し疲労もあったと思う。だが、(退場の)リスクを冒したくなかったから彼を交代させた」 2025.03.25 14:10 Tue

フランスW杯の戦犯が…ベッカム史上最高のFKから20年「特別な瞬間だった」

イングランド代表、ラトビア戦で外れる2名が決定…トゥヘル監督「最も才能のある26人の選手ではなく、適切なチームを見つけること」
