ドーピング違反により出場停止処分を課されていた元フランス代表MFポール・ポグバ(32)。いよいよこの3月に処分が解除され、サッカー界に戻ってくることが可能となる。 マンチェスター・ユナイテッドの下部組織で育ったポグバは、2012年8月にユベントスへとフリーで移籍。そこで目覚ましい活躍を見せると、2016年8月にユナイテッドは当時の史上最高額となる1億500万ユーロ(約170億円)を支払って獲得した。 チームの中心としてプレーする一方で、ケガやパフォーマンスに関して批判を浴びるようになり、2022年7月に契約満了。再びフリーでユベントスへと加入した。 しかし、2023年8月20日の試合後に、イタリア反ドーピング機関のドーピング検査でデヒドロエピアンドロステロン(DHEA)が検出され陽性に。B検体による再検査でも陽性反応が出たことから、2024年2月にイタリア反ドーピング裁決機関(TNA)によって4年間の出場停止処分を受けた。 しかし、納得できないポグバがスポーツ仲裁裁判所(CAS)に提訴すると、2024年10月に事態は一変。故意ではなかったとの主張が認められ、処分期間が18カ月まで大幅短縮されることとなった。 その期限を3月に迎える中、ユベントスとの契約を解除し、フリーになっているポグバ。マルセイユ移籍の話も浮上していた中、現時点でプレーする場所は決まっていないという。 フランス『レキップ』によれば、ポグバは自身に相応しいクラブを探すためにユベントスと退団し、1月に移籍先を決めなかったとのこと。行先には様々な候補が浮上している。 移籍先に浮上していたマルセイユだが、シーズン中にポグバを迎え入れることはないとのこと。大きな期待に応えられるとは考えられないことに加え、チームに加えることでリスクもあると判断。フリーのままでいれば、夏の獲得を目指す可能性があるという。 もう1つ浮上していたのはアメリカのメジャーリーグ・サッカー(MLS)。ポグバはマイアミでトレーニングを重ねており、インテル・マイアミの共同オーナーでもあるデイビッド・ベッカム氏と話をしたという報道も。リオネル・メッシやルイス・スアレスなどバルセロナでプレーしていた一流選手たちもいるだけに、スター軍団の1人になる可能性が噂されている。 MLSの移籍市場は4月23日に終了するため、まだ時間は残されている。ベッカム氏とタッグを組む可能性もありそうだ。 そしてもう1つの可能性が日本。Jリーグの移籍市場は3月26日まで開いており、ポグバは過去に来日した際に日本に好印象を持ち、お気に入りの国の1つとされている。ただ、プレーする可能性は低いとみられている。 ポグバの目標は2026年の北中米ワールドカップにフランス代表の一員として出場すること。1年半プレーしていないポグバにとっては簡単な道のりではなく、最も可能性が高いルートとしてはヨーロッパに留まって高いレベルでプレーし、その姿を認めてもらうこと。サウジアラビアという選択肢もありそうだが、なかなか難しいことは先人たちが奇しくも証明してしまい、代表から外される選手が増えている。 目標のため、ポグバはクラブ探しを急いではいないともされている。自身が参加するプロジェクトが、適切なものであり、適切なタイミングで訪れるかどうかを吟味している状況。果たしてどこのクラブでプレーを再開させるのか注目だ。 2025.03.11 15:40 Tue

ムバッペのお父さんもすごかった!?アザールのアシストから華麗なゴールを沈め、息子も反応「カメルーンバージョンのロナウドだ」

「鶏デカすぎ」「ケンタッキーとのコラボか?」フランス代表の新ユニフォームにはビッグサイズのロゴが採用「巨大すぎない?」

フランス代表は多国籍チームにあらず! メンディがSNSで絶妙な反応
