クロアチア代表指揮官のズラトコ・ダリッチ監督が勝利を振り返った。クロアチア『Vecernji list』が伝えた。

クロアチア代表は18日、ユーロ2024予選グループD第9節でラトビア代表と対戦。MFルカ・モドリッチやMFマルセロ・ブロゾビッチ、DFヨシュコ・グヴァルディオルらが先発した中、MFロヴロ・マイェルとMFアンドレイ・クラマリッチのゴールにより序盤から2点のリードを得ると、その後も終始主導権を握り2-0の快勝を収めた。

今回の勝利により2位に浮上したクロアチアは、最終節のアルメニア代表戦を勝利すれば自力で突破できる状況に。ダリッチ監督は内容と結果の両方に対し満足感を示した。
「選手たちの勝利を祝福する。我々は大きな自信と共に試合にうまく入った。すぐに2ゴールを決めて試合を終わらせた。我々は自分たち次第で結果が決まるという、望んでいた状況を迎えることができた」

また、チームにリードをもたらしたマイェルとクラマリッチにも言及。2点目が決まりリズムを掴むことができたと振り返った。
「マイェルはとても良かった。ゴールを決め、アシストもした。クラマリッチが得点したことでリズムを掴んだ。我々は現状に満足しなければならないが、これを喜んではならない」

「ショック」「史上最悪」クロアチア代表のW杯ユニ、伝統の市松模様が不均衡なホームは酷評の嵐…アウェイには好意的意見

「メディアでの不適切な発言」が原因…U-17クロアチア代表のヤルニ監督が電撃解任、ECL巡る発言が問題視

クロアチアサッカー連盟(HNS)は15日、U-17クロアチア代表のロベルト・ヤルニ監督(55)の解任を発表した。その理由は意外なものだった。 現役時代はハイドゥク・スプリトやバーリ、トリノ、ユベントス、レアル・ベティス、レアル・マドリー、ラス・パルマス、パナシナイコスでプレー。クロアチア代表としても活躍した。 引退後は指導者の道を進み、ハイドゥク・スプリトで監督キャリアをスタート、イストラなどで指揮したのち、2017年6月にU-19クロアチア代表監督に就任。その後U-20クロアチア代表の監督にもなると、インドのノースイースト・ユナイテッドで監督を務め、2022年8月からU-17クロアチア代表監督に就任していた。 しかし、HNSは突如としてヤルニ監督の解任を発表。理由はメディアでの不適切な発言だとした。 ヤルニ監督は、ヨーロッパ・カンファレンスリーグ(ECL)でレアル・ベティスvsディナモ・ザグレブが対戦するにあたり、古巣でもあるベティスについて言及。「誰応援しようか?ベティスは私のクラブであり、素晴らしい3年間を過ごした。ディナモでは私はプレーしていない。そのことで誰が私を責められるかわからない。ただ、同時に心からハイデュクのファンでもある」と語った。 母国のクラブとの対戦とはいえ、自身の古巣を応援することは問題ないはず。ディナモ・ザグレブの監督も、「ハイドゥクでプレーしていたから理解する」と、ライバルクラブを応援しない理由に理解を示していた。 しかし、HNSはこの発言の中で、ハイデュク・スプリト応援するという発言の方を問題視。応援するクラブを自由に選べるとはするものの、世代別のクロアチア代表を率いる人物が特定の国内クラブを支持することは望ましくないと発言したことを糾弾した。 「クロアチアサッカー連盟執行委員会の全会一致の決定により、ロベルト・ヤルニ氏はメディアでの不適切な発言を受けてクロアチアU-17代表チームの監督としての職責を解かれた」 「HNSの理事会は、例えそのような考え方が望ましいとは考えられていないとしても、代表チームの選手を含むすべてのサッカー選手を含むすべての個人が、例えヨーロッパの大会でクロアチアのクラブと対戦する場合であっても、自分が望むクラブを応援する権利を支持する」 「しかし、HNSは、クロアチアのすべてのセレクターにはより高い基準が適用され、クロアチア代表チームのトップにある人物がヨーロッパの大会でクロアチアのクラブを公然とサポートすることは不適切であり、望ましくなく、容認できないという非常に明確な立場をとっている。クロアチアのサッカーファミリー内の団結を促進することは、クロアチア代表チームの運営を成功させるための条件だ」 「クロアチアの代表チームの選考者には、すべてのクロアチアのクラブ間の団結、協力、敬意、相互信頼を促進するという明確な使命があるため、HNSはクロアチアのサッカーファミリーの団結を守るためにはこの種の決定が唯一の正しい決定であると考えている」 軽率な発言により解任されてしまったヤルニ監督。このスタンスが明らかになった今、今後もクロアチア代表に関わることは難しい可能性が高そうだ。 2024.02.15 22:10 Thu
