イングランドサッカー協会(FA)は13日、3選手の入れ替えを発表した。

ユーロ2024の予選に臨むイングランド代表。すでに本大会への切符を掴んでいる中、負傷者が続出している。

招集を受けていたトッテナムのMFジェームズ・マディソン、ニューカッスルのFWカラム・ウィルソン、ブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオンのDFルイス・ダンクがそれぞれ負傷で離脱した。

一方で、代役には3選手を招集。チェルシーのFWコール・パーマー、マンチェスター・シティのDFリコ・ルイス、アストン・ビラのDFエズリ・コンサが招集され、3人とも初のイングランド代表招集となった。

なお、パーマーとルイスはU-21イングランド代表に招集されていたが、A代表に昇格する形に。パーマーは今夏のU-21欧州選手権で優勝を経験。コンサは2017年のU-20ワールドカップで優勝を経験していた。
