U-22日本代表は4日、第19回アジア競技大会(The 19th Asian Games)の準決勝でU-24香港代表と対戦し、日本が4-0で勝利した。
2大会連続の決勝進出、13年ぶりの優勝を目指す日本。グループDを2戦2勝の首位で通過すると、ラウンド16ではU-24ミャンマー代表に7-0で大勝。準々決勝では苦しみながらU-24北朝鮮代表との一戦を制し、ベスト4まで勝ち進んだ。
中2日と過密日程の中、大岩剛監督は今回も大幅にメンバーを変更。[4-1-4-1]のシステムを採用し、GKは藤田和輝、最終ラインは右から関根⼤輝、馬場晴也、根本健太、今野息吹と並べ、アンカーには山内翔、2列目は右から角昂志郎、谷内田哲平、日野翔太、小見洋太となり、最前線には鮎川峻が入った。
立ち上がりは日本が押し込んだものの、最初の決定機は香港。5分にシュートを打たせてしまうと、そこから香港ペースが続き、14分にもミドルシュートを許した。
そんな中、左サイドを起点に日本が反撃。今野が左サイドを持ち上がるとファーへのクロスを角が折り返し。これは相手DFに阻止されたが、CKへと繋がった。
勢いそのまま、日本が24分に先制に成功する。敵陣左サイドでFKを得ると、日野がゴール前にクロス。相手のクリアボールを鮎川がボックス内左で拾うと、左足で叩いたシュートがGKの股を抜いてネットを揺らした。
その後も主導権を握るのは日本。香港もロングボールを主体に同点ゴールを狙ってくるが、淡白な攻撃に助けられる。
追加点が欲しい日本は40分にチャンス。左サイドをオーバーラップした今野がファーへ大きなクロスを送ると、頭での折り返しを谷内田がボックス内右で収める。相手DFをかわしてからゴール右下を狙ったが、ここはGKに防がれた。
0-1で迎えた後半は立ち上がりから日本ペースが続く。日野の左サイドからのクロスに鮎川が合わせにいく場面もあったがここは惜しくもミートしきれなかった。
日本に待望の追加点が生まれたのは54分。ボックス右の角へボールが渡ると、対峙したDFをかわしてから右足を一閃。強烈なシュートがGKに襲いかかり、弾いたボールに日野が反応。頭で押し込んでリードを2点に広げた。
前半以上に日本が主導権を握る中、大岩監督は最初の交代カードを切る。61分、谷内田を下げて重見柾斗をピッチに送り出した。
右サイドの角、左サイドの小見、中央の日野といった前線の選手たちが存在感を発揮する日本は、次々にチャンスを生み出す。74分には相手の隙を見逃さなかった小見が追加点をゲット。GKからのパスを受けた相手DFの振り向きざまを狙うと、後ろからボールを奪いそのままゴールへ。落ち着いて左足でシュートを流し込んだ。
試合の行方を決定づけた日本は77分に選手を2人交代。最前線の鮎川に代わって佐藤恵允、センターバックの馬場に代わって山﨑大地が登場した。
危なげなく試合を進める日本は最後まで攻撃の手も緩めず。86分、左サイドでスルーパスに抜け出した日野がボックス内左で相手DFと対峙すると、ずらしてから右足でシュート。内に巻いたボールがゴール右下に決まり、4点目を記録した。
89分には松村優太と吉田真那斗を投入し、試合を締めにかかる。5分の追加タイムの中で佐藤に決定機が訪れるが、GKに阻まれて0-4で試合終了。2大会連続の決勝進出を決めた日本は、U-24韓国代表vsU-24ウズベキスタン代表の勝者と7日に対戦する。

愛媛FCは3日、DF今野息吹(23)の期限付き移籍加入延長を発表した。

「ずっと仲良しでいいですね」「最高すぎる」堂安律もダブルピース! ハワイを共に楽しんだ相手は10年来の仲間「素敵です」

「漫画かよ」「ドラマがあるなぁ」“救世主”三笘薫と中村憲剛氏の13年前の姿にファンも感激「エモすぎる」
