16日、スコティッシュ・プレミアシップ第32節のキルマーノックvsセルティックが行われ、1-4でセルティックが勝利を収めた。

現在リーグ戦11連勝中のセルティック。前節は優勝を争う2位のレンジャーズとのオールドファームだったが、3-2で勝利を収めていた。

この試合ではDF小林友希、MF岩田智輝、FW前田大然、FW古橋亨梧が先発出場。負傷中のMF旗手怜央はメンバー外となった。
レギュラーシーズンも残り2節となった中、首位でプレーオフに進むことが確定しているセルティック。11位のキルマーノック相手に、立ち上がりから勢いを持ってプレーしていく。

すると7分、古橋が早速見せつける。相手の長いバックパスを狙っていた古橋は敵陣でパスカット。そのままスピードに乗って持ち出しボックス内に侵入。角度のないところで切り返したが、そのまま左足でシュート。相手の股間を抜けたシュートがネットを揺らし、セルティックが早々に先制する。なお、古橋はこれでリーグ戦23ゴール目となった。
早々にスコアを動かしたセルティックは12分に追加点。右サイドへと展開すると、ボックス内へのスルーパスに対して走り込んだアリスター・ジョンストンがクロス。これをファーサイドで前田がヘッド。逆サイドを狙うと、GKの逆を突いて見事にネットを揺らした。前田はこれでリーグ戦8ゴール目となった。

勢いに乗るセルティックは18分にも追加点。小林が最終ラインから縦パス。これを受けたグレッグ・テイラーが鋭いパスを送ると、最後はマット・オライリーが落ち着いてボックス内から流し込み、早くもリードを3点に広げた。

さらに21分にはテイラーがボックス内で倒されてセルティックがPKを獲得。キッカーの古橋は狙い過ぎたのか、シュートは左ポストを直撃。跳ね返りを前田が無人のゴールに蹴り込もうとするが、ボールの勢いが強すぎで枠を外してしまう。

嫌なムードも漂うかと思われたが、その後も押し込み続けると27分に追加点。左サイドを前田が仕掛けると、クロスボールは相手がブロック。クリアボールが自陣ボックス内で高く上がると、クリアボールがオライリーの下へ。そのままオライリーは落ち着いて蹴り込み、セルティックのリードが4点となる。

キルマーノックは45分、セルティックのビルドアップのミスを狙い波状攻撃。GKジョー・ハートが何度も防いだが、最後はリアム・ドネリーが蹴り込み、前半のうちに1点を返すことに成功する。

セルティックの3点リードで迎えた後半。アンジェ・ポステコグルー監督は古橋を下げて韓国代表FWオ・ヒョンギュを後半スタートから起用する。

前半のうちに2名を交代させていたキルマーノックは、1点を返したことで後半は積極的にセルティックゴールに迫ることに。一方のセルティックは、なかなか効果的な攻撃を生み出せない。

68分には前田、カラム・マクレガー、オライリーと主軸を下げ、デイビッド・ターンブル、アーロン・モーイ、ロッコ・バタを投入する。

セルティックはオ・ヒョンギュを中心に攻め立てるが、なかなかゴールに迫れず。守備では小林らが奮闘。後半は失点を許さない守備を見せていく。

そんな中、再び相手陣内での時間を増やしていくと、85分には岩田がビッグチャンス。ボックス手前で丁寧な横パスから狙い澄まして右足一閃。鋭いシュートが飛んだが、ゴールの左にわずかに外れた。

キルマーノックは最後までゴールを目指したが、セルティックは前半の失点のみに防ぎタイムアップ。1-4で快勝し、リーグ戦の連勝を「12」に伸ばすことに成功した。

沼津が今季入団のMF遠山悠希、FW杉本大雅、DF前川智敬と契約更新

ヴィッセル神戸が「イケメン総選挙」を開催! 直近2回の覇者不在でイニエスタの王者返り咲きなるか

CLのGS組み合わせ決定! バイエルン、バルサ、インテル同居の死の組! 長谷部&鎌田vs守田の日本人対決実現へ

「なんとか取り戻したい」9月以来の日本代表活動の前田大然、高校の先輩・渡辺剛との初活動は「2人で活躍したい」

アジアカップの開幕が近づく中で、日本代表FW前田大然(セルティック)が自身の状態について言及した。 12日に開幕を迎えるアジアカップ2023。カタールで開催される中で日本代表は調整を続けている。 ケガの影響もあり9月以降の日本代表活動に参加できなかったが、復帰してアジアカップで合流。9日に行われたヨルダン代表とのトレーニングマッチでもゴールを記録していた。 前田は11日のトレーニング後に取材に応じ、ヨルダン戦についてコメント。「個人というかチームとして良い状態だと思います。ここ数回は辞退していたので、なんとか取り戻したいとやっていて、練習試合でしたけどしっかりゴールできて良かったです」と、ゴールを喜んだ。 セルティックでもリーグ戦5試合欠場したもの、12月中旬に復帰。5試合を戦った中、合流直前のセント・ミレン戦では10月以来のゴールを記録した。 「復帰してチームでも2、3試合やりましたし、こっちに来る前にゴールもできていたので、問題ないです」と状態は問題ないと語った前田。11日のトレーニングは途中で離脱したが「コンディションを上げたいという部分もありましたが、明日の練習から全然大丈夫なので問題ないです」と、大きな問題ではないとした。 開幕は12日だが、日本の初戦はベトナム代表と14日に行われる。カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)のアジア予選でも戦ったベトナム。格下ではあるが、簡単にも勝たせてもらえない相手だ。 前田は「練習前にミーティングしましたけど、ベトナムとは1点差のゲームが多くて、難しい試合になることは間違い無いです」とコメント。「ただ、前と比べるとチームは大きく進化しているので、自分たちのサッカーをすれば良い試合ができていると思います」と、今の日本代表の戦いができれば問題はないと語った。 一方で、トレーニングマッチのヨルダン戦ではカウンターから失点。前田は失点はない方が良いとしながらも、本大会前に確認できたことは良かったとした。 「失点してきていなかった中での失点ですが、試合をやっていればどうしてもしてしまいますし、大会前にチームとして経験できたこと、そういうこともあるということが分かったのはこれから先やっていく上で良かったかなと。失点は無い方がもちろんいいので、減らしていけば良いと思います」 今回の日本代表には、山梨学院大学附属高校の1つ先輩であるDF渡辺剛(ヘント)が招集されている。高校の先輩と代表では初の活動になるが、「一緒にやりたいというのは常にあったので、今回初めてそういう機会が得られたので、母校を盛り上げるように2人で活躍したいです」とコメント。ついに実現したことを喜んだ。 2024.01.11 23:57 Thu
