カタールサッカー協会(QFA)は1日、カタール代表の指揮官にフレン・ロペテギ監督(58)が就任することを発表した。 アジアカップを連覇しているカタールは、2026年北中米ワールドカップ(W杯)アジア3次予選でグループAに入っており、8試合を終えて3勝1分け4敗で4位。残り2試合で2位以内に入ることは不可能となり、4次予選に回る可能性が高い。 6月の2試合から指揮を執るロペテギ監督だが、ホームでのイラン代表戦、アウェイでのウズベキスタン代表戦の結果次第では、4次予選にも進めない可能性が残っている。 そのカタール代表は、成績不振を受け2024年12月にはティンティン・マルケス監督を解任。アシスタントコーチのルイス・ガルシア氏が昇格していたが、ロペテギ氏が後任として決定した。 ロペテギ監督はラージョ・バジェカーノで監督のキャリアをスタート。レアル・マドリー・カスティージャを指揮すると、アンダー世代のスペイン代表の監督を歴任。その後ポルトの監督に就任すると、2016年7月にスペイン代表の監督に就任した。 スペイン代表では20戦無敗を記録。2018年のロシア・ワールドカップ(W杯)を指揮する予定だったが、大会前に2018-19シーズンからレアル・マドリーの監督に就任することが合意。その結果、スペインサッカー連盟(RFEF)は解任し、W杯の指揮を執らせなかった。 ただ、マドリーでは14試合で6勝しかあげられずにすぐに解任されると、セビージャ、ウォルバーハンプトン、ポルト、そしてウェストハムを指揮していた。 2025.05.01 22:35 Thu

ベンゼマ&代理人がミラン移籍報道を徹底否定

ウェストハムの新監督候補5人…日本代表戦士を指導するハマーズファンの31歳指揮官も

「本当に泣ける…」スペイン相手に劇的勝利、日本代表選手たちが勝利後のロッカー&バスで歌った曲は?久保建英がスピーカー持ってファンの前に

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

モロッコの国家的プロジェクト…ブラヒム&16歳ヤマルに政府高官が接触、自国にルーツの海外出身選手でA代表強化へ
モロッコ国王が、自国にルーツを持つ2選手のA代表招集を指示しているようだ。スペイン『Relevo』が伝えている。 カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)で4位入賞を果たしたモロッコ代表。20世紀前半にフランスの植民地だった同国の代表チームにはフランス生まれの選手が多く、他にもスペインやオランダなど欧州を中心とした海外出身の選手が非常に多いのが特徴的だ。 フランス生まれのワリド・レグラギ監督が率いる現チームでは、キャプテンのDFロマン・サイスもフランス生まれ。DFアクラフ・ハキミはスペイン、MFハキム・ツィエクとDFヌサイル・マズラウィとMFソフィアン・アムラバトはオランダ、GKボノはカナダなどなど中心選手の大半が海外出身だ。 かつて移民として国を離れた者たち。その子孫を集めることが代表チーム強化に繋がっているわけだが、現在はラ・リーガでプレーするモロッコ系プレーヤー2人の呼び戻しに注力。レアル・マドリーのMFブラヒム・ディアス(24)、バルセロナのFWラミン・ヤマル(16)を招集したい考えがあるようだ。 2人とも、生まれも育ちもスペインで、父親がモロッコ人。16歳ヤマルが今シーズンのラ・リーガ序盤戦で旋風を巻き起こしていることもあってか、モロッコ国内では2人の勧誘に関する議論が活発化しており、もはやスポーツの枠組みを越え、国家的なプロジェクトになっているという。 また、国王であり、国家元首でもあるムハンマド6世の命を受けた政府高官ら数人が「ブラヒム&ヤマルをモロッコ代表に」作戦を進めており、2人と電話で接触。モロッコは2030年のW杯招致に立候補していることもあって、本気で2人の囲い込みに動いているようだ。 ブラヒムはA代表の変更手続きが容易な国際親善試合とはいえ、2021年にスペイン代表として1試合に出場した経験が。ただ、現時点でモロッコ代表入りには応じずも、プライベートで頻繁にモロッコを訪れており、スペイン代表から遠ざかるなか、どこかで決断する可能性も捨てきれないとみられている。 その一方、ヤマルの説得は現実的ではない。こちらは9月の代表ウィークでスペイン代表に初招集されることが確実視され、カンテラの先輩MFガビが保有する17歳62日という最年少出場記録を塗り替えるものと考えられている。もう時間が残されていない。 可能性があるとすればブラヒムの方であることは想像に難くない。レグラギ監督はブラヒムから「イエス」が届けば、即座に招集する方針とのことだ。 2023.08.29 17:51 Tue
