FA女子スーパーリーグ第14節が2日から3日にかけて各地で行われた。 宝田沙織と籾木結花が先発した7位レスター・シティ(勝ち点16)は、首位チェルシー(勝ち点34)をホームに迎え、0-4で敗れた。

ポゼッション+マンツーマンディフェンスで真っ向勝負を挑んだレスター。17分には籾木に好機が訪れ、カウンターを受けた場面でも宝田が素晴らしいカバーリングで難を逃れるなど、首位チーム相手に互角の戦いを展開した。
だが、38分にCKからナタリー・ビョルンに先制点を許すと、44分には最終ラインのミスからマイラ・ラミレスに追加点を献上し、ビハインドで前半を終える。

一方、少ないチャンスを得点に結び付けた巧者・チェルシーは、64分に再び追加点を挙げると、前十字靱帯損傷から復帰し、デビュー戦となったカタリナ・マカリオが78分に初ゴールをマーク。結果的には大差を付け、首位を堅持している。
なお、宝田はフル出場し、籾木は85分までプレー。チェルシーの浜野まいかは79分から途中出場し、元セレッソ大阪堺レディース(現:セレッソ大阪ヤンマーレディース)同士の対戦が実現した。

チェルシーと同勝ち点の2位、なでしこジャパンのMF長谷川唯がフル出場したマンチェスター・シティは、10位エバートン(勝ち点14)と対戦し、2-1で勝利を収めた。

得点ランキングトップを走るカディジャ・ショーが、相手のボックス内でのミスを突いて15分に先制点を奪うと、55分にはローレン・ヘンプが地を這うグラウンダーのミドルを沈めてリードを広げる。60分にはGKから長谷川へのパスを狙われ、1点を返されるが、そのまま逃げ切った。

清水梨紗、林穂之香、植木理子の3選手が揃ってフル出場した9位ウェストハム(勝ち点11)は、宮澤ひなたが欠場中の4位マンチェスター・ユナイテッド(勝ち点24)とホームで対戦。4分に先制を許したが、85分に林の鋭い縦パスを契機にヴィヴィアン・アッセイが同点ゴールをマークする。

最終盤にはGKマッケンジー・アーノルドのパントキックをブロックされ、大ピンチを迎えるも、先制点を挙げたレイチェル・ウィリアムズのシュートはがら空きのゴールをとらえることなく、1-1の引き分けに終わった。

長野風花が先発出場した5位リバプール(勝ち点22)は、8位アストン・ビラとのアウェイ戦に4-1で勝利。ユナイテッドに勝ち点で並んだ。

再び6万人超えの入場者数を記録した3位アーセナル(勝ち点31)は、6位トッテナム(勝ち点19)とのノース・ロンドン・ダービーに1-0で辛勝。最下位ブリストル・シティ(勝ち点6)と9位ブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオン(勝ち点11)の一戦は3-7という派手な試合となり、アウェイのブライトンが制している。

マンチェスター・シティFWアルバレスらの英語教師が“美しすぎる”と話題!「数人の選手の彼女が嫉妬に狂った」

アグエロがシティの歴史に名を刻んだ瞬間、プレミア初優勝を決めた93:20の熱狂
