U-19日本女子代表は16日から21日にかけ、フランスで行われるSUD Ladies Cup 2023に参加する。大会公式サイトは日本の注目選手にMF谷川萌々子(JFAアカデミー福島)を挙げた。来年開催予定のFIFA U-20女子ワールドカップ(W杯)を目指すU-19日本女子。同メンバーで迎える初の海外遠征、対外試合には、2020年8月にコスタリカで開催されたU-20女子W杯準優勝メンバーのMF林愛花(MVLA Soccer Club/アメリカ)に加え、WEリーグでも結果を残すMF榊原琴乃(AC長野パルセイロ・レディース)やMF笹井一愛(ノジマステラ神奈川相模原)らが招集された。

現地入り後の11日にはD1 Arkema(フランス女子1部)で現在3位のパリFCとのトレーニングマッチを実施。FW根府桃子(大和シルフィード)の先制点を含め、5-3の勝利で終えた。
開幕に先立って大会公式サイトは注目選手を紹介。「日本のライジングスター」と称されたのが谷川だ。

「(当時)17歳の攻撃的MFは2022年10月にインドで行われたU-17女子W杯で最大の発見だった」と綴られた谷川は、両足遜色ない長短のキックを武器に昨季はなでしこリーグ2部で8得点を挙げ、今季もすでに3ゴールをマーク。同大会では圧巻のロングシュートを含む4試合連続ゴールを記録し、シルバーブーツにも選出された。
準々決勝で対戦したU-17女子スペイン代表メンバーの1人、FWヴィッキー・ロペスはすでにバルセロナでUEFA女子チャンピオンズリーグ(UWCL)にもメンバー入り。同年代の谷川にも今大会をはじめとした国際舞台でのさらなる活躍が期待される。

ブラジル遠征のなでしこジャパンメンバーが発表! アジア競技大会で活躍の18歳MF谷川萌々子、17歳DF古賀塔子が初招集 【国際親善試合】

アジア競技大会の北朝鮮戦でもゴール、なでしこの新鋭・谷川萌々子は再現なるか「チャンスがあれば狙っていきたい」

なでしこジャパンのMF谷川萌々子(FCローゼンゴード)が、パリ・オリンピックアジア最終予選第2戦の北朝鮮女子代表戦へ向け、公開トレーニング後にメディアの取材に応じた。 なでしこジャパンは北朝鮮との第1戦を24日に中立地のサウジアラビアで行い、ゴールレスドローで終えた。第2戦は28日に国立競技場で行われ、勝った方がパリ行きの切符を手にするという、シンプルな構図で迎える。 今春にJFAアカデミーを卒業する18歳にとって、トップカテゴリーの選手と戦う機会はこれまで多くはなかったが、「(当たりが)強いなっていうのは感じますけど、やっていける気持ちもあるので、積極的に球際も負けずにやっていきたい」と、力強く語る。 ジッダでの第1戦にも69分から途中出場。アジア競技大会決勝でも相まみえている相手に対して「(北朝鮮戦の)雰囲気を一度味わっているので、途中出場の時もビビることなくプレーできたと思います」と頼もしい言葉を残す。 第1戦でのチームとしての課題にはこぼれ球の対応を挙げ、自身としても不完全燃焼気味。先述のアジア競技大会北朝鮮戦では得点も決めており、国立競技場での第2戦でもレンジの長い一撃に期待が高まる。 「(第1戦では)ロングホールからのセカンドボールやサードボールを相手に拾われて、二次攻撃をされていたので、ポジショニングについてはチームでも改善できています」 「(途中出場時は池田太監督から)しっかりハードワークして、チャンスがあればシュートを打ってこいと言われてピッチに入ったんですけど、1本も打てずに終わってしまったので、次にチャンスがあれば狙っていきたいです」 2024.02.27 23:20 Tue

谷川萌々子が3戦連発弾&門脇真依が2ゴール!ローゼンゴードが13得点圧勝劇で国内カップ戦準決勝進出

1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。 王者は初心忘れず…フランス代表が初めて在籍したアマクラブのユニで記念撮影

「W杯を感じない」「いまいち」フランス代表のW杯ユニフォームがシンプルすぎて不評、PRに起用したラッパーには不快感「理解できない」
