ブラジル代表の活動に参加した8名の選手が、今週末のプレミアリーグでのプレーが不可能となった。
今回の事態は、ブラジルサッカー連盟(CBF)が国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)の規則を発動。インターナショナルマッチウィークの終了後、5日間の出場停止が課されるとなる。
ブラジルでは、プレミアリーグがレッドリスト国への渡航を禁止したにも関わらず、8名の選手がプレーしていた。
今回出場停止を受けるのは、チェルシーのDFチアゴ・シウバ、マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのMFフレッジ、リバプールのFWロベルト・フィルミノ、MFファビーニョ、GKアリソン・ベッカー、マンチェスター・シティのGKエデルソン、FWガブリエウ・ジェズス、リーグ・ユナイテッドのFWラフィーニャの8名となった。
なお、エバートンのFWリシャルリソンに関しては、東京オリンピックへの出場をエバートンが許可してくれたことを受け、特別な許可を出したとされている。
しかし、ブラジル以外にもアルゼンチン代表にはGKエミリアーノ・マルティネス、MFエミリアーノ・ブエンディアのアストン・ビラ勢や、DF クリスティアン・ロメロ、MFジオバニ・ロ・チェルソのトッテナム勢もがおり、トッテナムの2名はクラブの規律を違反したとして処分される予定だ。

人員過多のチェルシー、識者がスカッド整理を注文「25～30人に減らすべき」

J2王者の磐田、東京五輪ブラジル代表のDFグラッサを獲得か…移籍金は1億7000万円

「3R」の一角・ロナウジーニョが20年前の日韓W杯で決めた“幻惑FK”!人気絶頂だったベッカム擁するイングランドを沈めた一撃
