チェルシー所属のイタリア代表MFジョルジーニョは、選考の基準次第でバロンドールを受賞できる可能性があると語った。

チェルシーの一員として2020-21シーズンのチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)優勝、そして先日行われたユーロ2020でも主力として活躍し、イタリアの53年ぶりの優勝に貢献したジョルジーニョ。クラブとナショナルチームの両方で主要タイトルを獲得した29歳のMFをバロンドール候補に推す声は多い。

ブラジル『SportTV』に出演したジョルジーニョは、受賞できるかどうかは基準次第としつつも、タイトル獲得という面では誰にも負けていないと主張した。
「僕たちは夢のために生きている。でも、正直に言うと、それ(受賞者)を決める基準は人それぞれだ」

「才能を基準にするならば、僕は世界最高ではないと自覚している。タイトルを基準に選ぶのであれば、今シーズン僕よりも多くの勝利を収めた人はいないね」
「リオネル・メッシ、クリスティアーノ・ロナウド、ネイマールと自分をどう比較するか? 彼らはまったく違う特徴を持っているけど、やはり基準によるよ」

また、ラツィオの新指揮官に就任することが決まっているマウリツィオ・サッリ監督も、チェルシー時代の教え子を「すべてのプレーを簡単に見せてくれる」と絶賛しており、受賞者にふさわしいとコメントしている。

各ナショナルチームの監督とキャプテンが投票するFIFA最優秀選手賞とは違い、記者の投票で決まるバロンドール。ジョルジーニョの獲得は実現するだろうか。

チェルシー、守備陣の公用語を一時的にフランス語に変更! 主将アスピリクエタが明かす

北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】

日向坂46の影山優佳さん、内田篤人も「渋いところから持ってきたね」と驚く今年最も注目する選手は?

46歳ブッフォンがついに結婚! 2017年にプロポーズ、10年以上連れ添った女子アナと挙式…元チームメイトらゲストは250名以上に
