フットボール界屈指のレコードブレーカーであるポルトガル代表FWクリスティアーノ・ロナウドがハンガリー代表戦で4つの新記録を樹立した。

大会連覇を目指すポルトガルは、15日にプスカシュ・アレーナで行われたユーロ2020グループF第1節でハンガリーと対戦。試合終盤まで0-0の拮抗した展開に持ち込まれたが、試合終盤の3ゴールによって3-0の勝利を収めた。

この一戦に先発フル出場を果たしたC・ロナウドは、87分に味方が得たPKをきっちり決めてチーム2点目をもたらすと、92分にはゴール前での落ち着き払った振る舞いから試合を決定づける3点目を奪い、チームの開幕節勝利に大きく貢献した。
36歳とは抜群の存在感を発揮したC・ロナウドは、この試合で4つの偉大な記録を樹立することになった。

まずはユーロ2004から5大会連続でユーロ本大会に出場したことで、通算5大会に出場した史上初の選手に。さらに、ユーロ2004で2ゴール、ユーロ2008で1ゴール、ユーロ2012で3ゴール、ユーロ2016で3ゴールを挙げていた同選手は、この試合での2ゴールによって同じく5大会連続でゴールを挙げた最初の選手となった。
さらに、今大会前時点で元フランス代表MFミシェル・プラティニと並んでいた通算ゴール数を「11」に更新し、ユーロ通算最多得点記録も樹立した。

また、これまで5度のユーロで22試合、4度のワールドカップで17試合に出場したC・ロナウドは、元ドイツ代表MFバスティアン・シュバインシュタイガー(38試合)を抜き国際主要大会最多出場記録(39試合)を樹立した。

なお、代表通算ゴール数を106点に伸ばしたポルトガルのエースは、元イラン代表FWアリ・ダエイの代表通算得点記録(109点)にあと3点に迫っている。

マドリー時代を振り返るイグアイン「当初はカスティージャに行く予定だった」

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす

C・ロナウドの行動が4400億円の損失に!? 会見時にコカ・コーラの株価が下落

「興奮する」ポルトガル代表が新ユニフォーム発表を予告!明らかになったデザインが話題に「めっちゃいい」
