ラッシュフォードに人種差別投稿の50歳男性が逮捕される
先のユーロ2020決勝でPKを外した選手にSNS上を介した誹謗中傷が相次ぐイングランド代表だが、逮捕者が出たようだ。イギリス『デイリー・メール』が報じている。 今大会で同国初の決勝進出を果たしたイングランド。その決勝戦は11日に自国の聖地ウェンブリー・スタジアムで行われ、イタリア代表から幸先よく先制したが、終盤に追いつかれると、延長戦を経てのPK戦で力尽き、無念の準優勝に終わった。 この結果を受けて、PKを外したFWマーカス・ラッシュフォード、MFジェイドン・サンチョ、MFブカヨ・サカはSNS以上で人種差別的な誹謗中傷の標的に。イングランドサッカー協会(FA)をはじめ、各方面はすぐさま連帯の意思を示している。 そうしたなか、捜査に開始した警察により、フットボールチームで子供たちを指導する50歳の男性が「人種的憎悪を煽った疑い」で逮捕されたという。男性はラッシュフォードに「自分の国に帰れ」と人種差別的なツイートを投じたとされる。 その男性は容疑を否認して、自身のアカウントがハッキング被害を受けての末路だと主張しているというが、警察は身柄を一時拘束。その後の事情聴取を経て、釈放された模様だ。 なお、警察は「このような行為が適切に対処されるように地元のサッカーコミュニティとの連携を続けていく」と今後も引き続き人物の特定に尽力していく姿勢を示しているようだ。 2021.07.15 13:25 Thu

ラッシュフォードに大英帝国勲章が授与! コロナ禍に貧困家庭を支援

「寄せすぎ」「コピーだ」アストン・ビラの新エンブレムがチェルシーに酷似?実は過去のデザインを踏襲したもの

アストン・ビラがスタジアム改修をスタート、ユーロ2028の会場となり5万人収容に変貌へ
