韓国代表の新指揮官候補に、イラク代表を率いるヘスス・カサス・ガルシア監督(50)が浮上だ。
アジア杯2023で日本代表を撃破したイラク代表。チームを率いるのは、2022年11月就任のスペイン人指揮官、ヘスス・カサス監督だ。
過去にバルセロナの分析官やスペイン代表のアシスタントコーチを務めた経験も持つ同監督。イラク代表との契約は2026年末まで残すが、韓国『スポーツ・ソウル』によると、現在正指揮官がいない韓国代表(※1)の新指揮官候補の1人だという。

これについて、ヘスス・カサス監督の母国スペインから『Relevo』もこの事実を確認したとのこと。U-23代表の五輪逸などでチョン・モンギュ会長への辞任要求が強まる大韓サッカー協会(KFA)だが、ユルゲン・クリンスマン前監督の後任選定人事も進められているという。
こちらはKFAの200万ユーロ(約3億3000万円)という年俸提示に対し、「リーズでもっと貰っていた」マーシュ氏側が難色を示している、との見立てが浮上している。

神戸&柏でプレーした韓国代表GKキム・スンギュがモデル&俳優のキム・ジンギョンさんと6月に結婚
