レンジャーズサポーターに人種差別行為の疑い…セルティック古橋亨梧と中村俊輔が標的に

レンジャーズのサポーターが、セルティックの日本代表FW古橋亨梧に対して人種差別的な行為をした疑いが上がっている。スコットランド『ザ・ヘラルド』が伝えている。

レンジャーズは22日、スコティッシュ・プレミアシップ第3節でロス・カウンティとのアウェイゲームに臨んだ。問題の動画はその試合に向かうバスで撮影された。

レンジャーズのサポーターたちがかつてセルティックで活躍した横浜FCのMF中村俊輔を揶揄する曲を歌った後、つり目ポーズをしながら「みんなで亨梧をやろう」と歌っていたという。

スコットランド警察は、これまでのところ事件の報告はないとコメントしている一方で、レンジャーズの広報によると、クラブはこの件について調査を開始したとのことだ。

「レンジャーズはあらゆる形の人種差別を非難する。そのような行動をしてしまう人々は、私たちのクラブや、その大きさに関わらず私たちに寄り添った忠実なサポートを代表するものではない。現在、関係者を特定するために調査を行っている」

また、古橋が所属するセルティックもツイッターで声明を発表している。

「報告が正確であるならば、古橋亨梧選手に向けられたそのような不快で哀れな人種差別的な行動は絶対的な非難に値します」

「残念ながら、近年、セルティックの多くの選手が同様の人種差別的な虐待を受けています」

「すべての人に開かれたクラブとして、私たちはあらゆる形態の人種差別に断固として反対し、亨梧を全面的にサポートします」

「すべての関係者が協力して、あらゆる形態の偏見に取り組まなければなりません」

7月にヴィッセル神戸からセルティックに加入した古橋は公式戦7試合6ゴールと驚異的な活躍を見せている。

なお、両チームは29日に行われる第4節にレンジャーズのホームで直接対決を迎える。

「これなんなんw」「シュールだけど好き」セルティックの日本人4人による日本語メッセージシリーズの最新作「入学おめでとう」

マンチェスター・シティのデビッド・バーンスタイン元会長が、振り返るのも無惨なクラブの暗黒時代を振り返った。イギリス『ミラー』が伝えている。イングランド王者、そして欧州王者のシティ。2008-09シーズンに中東資本参入によるビッグクラブ化計画が始まって以降、プレミアリーグを7度制し、1880年の創立から143年、昨季とうとうチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)を初制覇した。しかし、そんなシティがほんの十数年前まで、宿敵マンチェスター・ユナイテッドの足元はおろか、残留争いが定位置のクラブだったことを、日本の若きサッカー少年・少女は知らないかもしれない。バーンスタイン氏はシティが3部リーグ降格直前の1998年春に会長となり、「最大の暗黒期」だったと言われる2003年まで5年間務めた人物。シティのプレミアリーグ復帰に尽力したとして、今なおサポーターから高く評価・尊敬される御年80歳の長老だ。氏は、ウィンブルドンFC(※1)との合併話や、レンジャーズ(スコットランド1部)のフィーダークラブ化案といった、2024年現在では考えられないような、シティが“下に見られた”1990年代後半を振り返る。 (※1)2004年消滅。後身のミルトン・キーンズ・ドンズFCは現在イングランド4部「ウィンブルドンとの合併がプレミアリーグ復帰への最大の近道…そんな時代があったんだよ。先方からオファーが来たんだ。その後にはレンジャーズから手紙が届いた。彼らは我々(シティ)を自分たちのフィーダークラブ(※2)にしようとしていたんだ」 (※2)シティとジローナ、チェルシーとフィテッセのような関係性。シティは若手選手のレンタル先にジローナをよく利用する「もちろんどちらもすぐに却下した。正直に言って、あの時代に私が会長だったことはこの上なく幸運なことだったはずだよ。私はシティのファンだからね。誘惑に駆られがちな人間が会長だったら、シティは今ごろどうなっていたか」バーンスタイン氏はマンチェスターにほど近いマージーサイド州の出身で、幼少期からのシティサポーター。のちにFA(イングランドサッカー協会)会長も務め上げたこの男がいなければ、いまのシティは間違いなくなかっただろう。 2024.02.18 15:25 Sun
