東京五輪に臨む、なでしこジャパンのメンバー18名が発表! キャプテンは熊谷紗希

日本サッカー協会(JFA)は18日、東京オリンピックに臨むなでしこジャパンメンバー18名を発表した。

東京オリンピックの女子サッカーは7月21日に開幕。8月6日に新国立競技場で決勝戦を迎える。

今回のメンバーには、6月の活動に参加したメンバーから招集。3月のトレーニングキャンプまで招集されていたDF鮫島彩(大宮アルディージャVENTUS)は選外となった。なお、キャプテンはDF熊谷紗希(バイエルン)が務める。
高倉麻子監督「今朝まで、最後の1ピース、2ピースは正直悩みました。朝も1時間ほど近所を散歩して、最後はこのメンバーで行こうと決心を固めてメンバーを選んできました」とコメント。最後まで考え抜いた選考となった。

ホスト国として臨むなでしこジャパンは、ブラジルのリオデジャネイロで行われた前回大会は不参加だったため、準優勝したロンドンオリンピック以来2大会ぶりの出場。グループEに入り、カナダ女子代表(4大会連続4回目)、イギリス女子代表(2大会ぶり2回目)、チリ女子代表(初出場)と対戦する。

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

「このイジりやめぇ」ドイツ戦に続き日本の勝利がSNSでいじられる!スタメン11人を悟空やルフィら人気キャラに総入れ替え「これならダントツで優勝」

「まさに死闘ってカンジ」歴史に残るバーレーンとの4-3の激闘!2004年大会プレイバックに反響「このゴールで中澤佑二に惚れた」
