パリ・オリンピック(五輪)女子サッカー3位決定戦のスペイン女子代表vsドイツ女子代表が9日に行われ、0-1でドイツが勝利した。

準決勝でグループステージの再戦となったブラジル女子代表に敗れたスペインと、アメリカ女子代表に惜敗したドイツによるヨーロッパ勢対決の3位決定戦。試合は前から圧力をかけるドイツが良い入りを見せたが、スペインはセットプレーから先にチャンスを創出する。21分、敵陣中盤でFK獲得すると、GKの位置を確認しテレサ・アベレイラが直接ゴールを狙ったが、これはクロスバーを叩いた。

以降も拮抗した展開が続くなか、スペインは44分に再び決定機。ボックス左から侵入したオナ・バトレの折り返しを走り込んだアイタナ・ボンマティがワントラップからシュート。これがクロスバーを直撃すると、こぼれ球をジェニファー・エルモソがダイレクトシュートで狙ったが、相手DFにディフレクトし枠の上に外れた。

ゴールレスで迎えた後半、クララ・ビュールを下げてリー・シュレルを投入したドイツは63分にチャンス。中盤で浮き球のボールをアレクサンドラ・ポップがダイレクトで前線に送ると、これに反応したジュリア・グヴィンがボックス内で飛び出したGKカタ・コルに体当たりされる形で倒され、主審はPKを宣告。このPKをグヴィンが冷静ゴール右下に沈めた。

先制を許したスペインは75分、左サイドでボールを受けたオルガ・カルモナがストレート系のクロスを供給すると、ゴール前に走り込んだエルモソがドンピシャヘッドで合わせたが、これはGKアン=カトリン・ベルガーのファインセーブに阻まれた。

スペインは終盤にかけても攻勢を続けると、終了間際にルシア・ガルシアがボックス内で倒され、PKを獲得。ここでアレクシア・プテジャスがキッカーを務めたが、右隅を狙ったシュートをGKベルガーが完璧な読みでストップ。

結局、試合はそのまま0-1でタイムアップ。この結果、ドイツが4大会ぶり4度目の銅メダルを獲得した。

女子バロンドール2024候補30名が発表、昨年に続き長谷川唯が選出

ドイツ女子代表のキャプテンFWポップが代表引退を決断…144試合67ゴール、10月28日がラストマッチ「完全に火が消えてしまう前に…」
