ドイツ女子代表のキャプテンを務めているFWアレクサンドラ・ポップ(33)が、代表からの引退を発表した。ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)が伝えた。
ポップは2007年に1.FFCレックリングハウゼンでデビュー。世代別のドイツ女子代表を経験すると、2010年2月17日の北朝鮮女子代表戦でドイツ女子代表デビューを果たした。

パリ・オリンピック(五輪)女子サッカー3位決定戦のスペイン女子代表vsドイツ女子代表が9日に行われ、0-1でドイツが勝利した。
準決勝でグループステージの再戦となったブラジル女子代表に敗れたスペインと、アメリカ女子代表に惜敗したドイツによるヨーロッパ勢対決の3位決定戦。

今回が記念すべき第1回大会となるUEFA女子ネーションズリーグ(UWNL)は、パリ・オリンピックの欧州予選も兼ねており、五輪開催国のフランスを除いた上位2カ国に出場権が与えられる。

17日に発表された、フランスのフットボール専門誌『フランス・フットボール』が発表したバロンドール。女子はバルセロナのスペイン女子代表MFアレクシア・プテジャスが2年連続での受賞となった。
2018年からスタートした女子のバロンドール。プテジャスは史上初となる連続受賞、そして2度目の受賞者となった。
2022年は女子ユーロをイングランド女子代表が制覇、そして女子チャンピオンズリーグ(CL)をリヨンが制しており、どちらかの選手が受賞するのではないかという見方が強かった。
しかし、プテジャスはバルセロナのキャプテンとして躍動。2021-22シーズンで42ゴール22アシストと、64ゴールにも絡む圧倒的な活躍を見せていた。
また、リーグチャンピオンであり、女子CLも準優勝。また女子ユーロでは得点王を獲得していた。
受賞したプテジャスは舞台上で喜びを語っている。
「ここにいられてとても幸せです。昨年優勝したとき、私は自分自身を改善して、自分のチームのために自分自身を捧げようとしました」

ドイツ女子代表のキャプテンを務めているFWアレクサンドラ・ポップ(33)が、代表からの引退を発表した。ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)が伝えた。
ポップは2007年に1.FFCレックリングハウゼンでデビュー。世代別のドイツ女子代表を経験すると、2010年2月17日の北朝鮮女子代表戦でドイツ女子代表デビューを果たした。
