17日、2023-24 WEリーグカップ グループステージ グループA第4節の2試合が各地で行われた。

3連勝でグループ首位に立つサンフレッチェ広島レジーナが、2勝1分けで2位につける昨季王者の三菱重工浦和レッズレディースの敵地へ乗り込んだ一戦は、S広島Rがしたたかに勝利。クラブ史上初の決勝進出を決めた。

気温34.4℃のなかで行われた首位攻防戦。勝てばグループステージ突破が決まるS広島Rは、開始早々にチャンスが到来。最終ラインからのロングボールで裏を取った中嶋淑乃が左サイドをえぐってのシュートを放つも、浦和もGK福田史織が好セーブを披露する。
逆転突破へ向けて勝利必須の浦和は、徐々にポゼッション率を高めて相手陣内での時間を増やし、菅澤優衣香をターゲットにした両サイドのクロスで好機を作る。30分には中央もショートパスで攻略し、菅澤がミドルを狙えば、前半終了間際には左CKから高橋はなが惜しいヘディングを見せた。

ハーフタイムには両ベンチが動き、浦和は右サイドハーフの塩越柚歩に代えて島田芽依、S広島Rは右サイドバックの近賀ゆかりを下げて藤生菜摘を送り込むと、後半早々に試合を動かしたのはS広島Rだった。
48分、前線の駒を欠く中で先発の機会を得た渡邊真衣が右足ミドル。これで右CKを得て柔らかいボールを送ると、左山桃子が落としてゴール前の柳瀬楓菜が反転から右足を振り抜き、ネットを揺らした。

近賀に代わって後半からキャプテンマークを巻いた柳瀬のプロ初ゴールで試合を動かしたS広島Rは、その5分後に追加点を奪取。ボックス左角付近でFKを獲得すると、中距離砲を武器とする小川愛がニアポストの内側を掠めるこれ以上ないコースへ蹴り込み、リードを広げる。

立て続けに得点を重ねたS広島Rだが、58分に市瀬千里が右足のもも辺りに違和感を覚え、担架でピッチを後にするアクシデント。浦和は直後の再開後のFKから高橋がヘッドで狙うも、左ポストを叩いた。

攻勢を強める浦和はさらに清家貴子、柴田華絵と力のある選手を次々と送り込み、終盤には高橋を前線に上げてのパワープレーを決行。追加タイム2分に島田のラストパスから清家が1点を返すも、時すでに遅し。

S広島Rは9分の追加タイムも粘り強い守備を続け、連勝を「4」に。昨季2冠の浦和を下し、クラブ史上初の決勝進出を決めた。

一方で懸念は負傷者の状態か。殊勲の柳瀬も83分に担架で運ばれ、試合後には左足首をアイシングしながら松葉杖をつく姿が確認されている。

グループAのもう1試合、ノジマステラ神奈川相模原vsジェフユナイテッド市原・千葉レディースは、引き分けに終わった。

開幕から無得点が続くN相模原だったが、今節は開始1分も経たないうちに先制点をマーク。中盤で起用された榊原琴乃のスルーパスから、開幕戦以来の先発となった右ウイングの浜田芽来が抜け出し、GKとの一対一を冷静に制した。

今季初ゴールを挙げたN相模原は笹井一愛にも好機が訪れる。30分過ぎには左サイドへ抜け出し、飛び出したGKを見てループで狙えば、5分後にも厚みのある攻撃からゴール前で触れば1点をいうシーンを迎えた。

一方、千葉はビハインドで折り返すこととなったが、51分にアジア競技大会の日本女子代表メンバーに選出された大澤春花が試合を振り出しに戻す。最終ラインからのロングボールで裏へ抜け出すと、大賀理紗子をかわしてGKの頭上を越すループを沈めた。

以降は互いにチャンスを作ったものの、N相模原は平田ひかりのカットインからの右足がポストを叩くなど、新たなゴールは生まれず。1-1の引き分けに終わっている。

なでしこリーグを代表するFW3名がノジマへ加入!3季連続二桁得点、大竹麻友らはWEリーグでも結果を残せるか
