ボーフムは2日、ブンデスリーガ第9節でフランクフルトとのアウェイ戦に臨み、2-7で大敗した。ボーフムのMF三好康児は前半のみの出場となっている。

監督交代があった前節、バイエルンに5失点完敗に終わった最下位ボーフム(勝ち点1)は三好が2試合ぶりに先発に戻った。

6位フランクフルト(勝ち点14)に対し、三好がフラットな[4-4-2]の左MFでスタートしたボーフムがアグレッシブな入りを見せるも、9分に失点。マーモウシュのアーリークロスを受けたボックス内のエキティケにシュートを決められた。
さらに18分、ボックス手前左からマーモウシュに直接FKを決められ、リードを広げられてしまう。そして2分後にも失点。ヴィッテクが自陣でクナウフにボールを奪われ、そのままゴールを許した。

その後はフランクフルトがハーフコートゲームとすると、32分に4点目。コリンズが三好の対応を振り切って右サイドを突破しクロス。これをゴール前にいたブラウンが合わせた。
絶望的なボーフムは35分、CKの流れからデ・ウィトが押し込んで一矢報いるも、1-4で前半を終えた。

迎えた後半、三好が交代となった中、フランクフルトに3点を追加されたボーフムは屈辱の7失点大敗。ホルシュタイン・キールが今節、ハイデンハイム相手にクラブ史上初めてブンデス1部での勝利を挙げたため、ボーフムが唯一の未勝利チームとなっている。

ボーフムがフランクフルトに屈辱の7失点大敗、三好康児は前半のみの出場【ブンデスリーガ】
