そんなエリクソン氏がファンだと公言するリバプールは23日にアンフィールドでアヤックス相手に行われるチャリティマッチでの指揮を打診。粋な計らいに応じたエリクソン氏は念願叶って、スティーブン・ジェラードらを擁するリバプールレジェンドを率いた。
夢の実現となる試合はというと、開始3分に先制され、43分にも追加点を奪われる劣勢だったが、後半にグレゴリー・ヴィグナル、ジブリル・シセ、ナビル・エル・ザール、フェルナンド・トーレスのゴールで形勢逆転。2点ビハインドから華麗な逆転劇を演じた。

ガブリエウとヘンダーソン口論、FAは不問に…「申告された疑惑の発言は確認されなかった」

2人のマク・アリスターがELで実現した兄弟対決を振り返る、兄「苦しんだのは弟のせい」弟「家族にとって特別なもの」
