イングランド新監督トゥヘル、年俸は約10億円チェルシー時代の半額

イングランド代表監督に就任したトゥヘル氏

イギリス『ミラー』によると、トーマス・トゥヘル氏がイングランド代表監督として受ける年俸はおよそ500万ポンド(約9億7000万円)になるようだ。

ユーロ2024を最後にガレス・サウスゲイト監督が退任したイングランド。9月、そして今月の活動までをリー・カーズリー暫定体制で繋ぐなか、ドルトムントやチェルシー、バイエルンと強豪クラブを率いした実績を持つドイツ人指揮官を招へいした。

日本円にして約9億7000万円の年俸というと、なかなかの額だが、チェルシー時代のトゥヘル氏は1000万ポンド(約19億4000万円)。それと比較すると、半額ということになる。

ちなみに、前任者のガレス・サウスゲイト監督は在任8年で、最終的に600万ポンド(約11億6000万円)近くの年俸を得たが、当初は160万ポンド(約3億1000万円)ほどだったようだ。

最初から10億円近くの年俸というのはクラブレベルでの実績を含め、期待の表れといってもよさそうだが、1966年のワールドカップ(W杯)を最後に遠ざかるメジャータイトルに導けるだろうか。

なお、トゥヘル氏はイングランド史において、スヴェン・ゴラン・エリクソン氏、ファビオ・カペッロ氏に続く3人目の外国籍監督となる。

元ユナイテッドSDがFAに復帰…新設のチーフ・フットボール・オフィサーに就任

元マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのスポーツディレクター(SD)、ダン・アシュワース氏が、イングランドサッカー協会(FA)に復帰することになった。 FAは14日、アシュワース氏が新設のチーフ・フットボール・オフィサーに就任すると発表。同職ではイングランド代表の男女チームと緊密に連携していくことになるという。昨年12月にユナイテッドのSDをわずか5カ月で退任したアシュワース氏。それ以前にはブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオン、ニューカッスルで手腕を発揮しており、国内外のクラブからのオファーも想定されていたが、2018年まで6年間に渡って勤務していたFAに復帰することになった。アシュワース氏は、セント・ジョージズ・パークの再開発を監督し、2028年に開催されるユーロ2028の共催に向け、競技施設とピッチの改善を目指す。さらに、この新役職は、男子フットボールのテクニカルディレクターであるジョン・マクダーモット氏と緊密に連携するとともに、FAの最高経営責任者(CEO)であるマーク・ブリンガム氏とも連携する。また、イングランド国内の地元出身のコーチの育成にも携わる予定だという。 2025.05.15 16:30 Thu

北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】
