内紛の韓国代表、イ・ガンインが卓球での揉み合いでソン・フンミンに手を上げたという報道を否定「事実とは異なる」

アジアカップ中にチームメイトと揉めたイ・ガンイン

韓国代表MFイ・ガンインが、自身が起こした騒動について謝罪したが、事実と異なることが多いと主張している。韓国『聯合ニュース』が伝えた。

アジアカップ2023ではベスト4入りを果たした韓国。ラウンド16でサウジアラビア代表、準々決勝でオーストラリア代表と優勝候補を120分間戦い勝利。しかし、準決勝ではヨルダン代表を相手に2-0で完敗を喫していた。

失意の敗退となった韓国だが、アジアカップ敗退から1週間が経過したところで内紛が起こっていたと報道。ソン・フンミンが指を脱臼したことが報じられていた。

理由は準決勝のヨルダン戦を前にした食事の時間、ソン・フンミンが怒り。食事を早々に終わらせたイ・ガンインは、ソル・ヨンウ(蔚山HD)、チョン・ウヨン(シュツットガルト)と共に卓球をして騒いでいたところ、ソン・フンミンに怒られ、その際に揉み合いとなってソン・フンミンがケガをしたとされていた。

イ・ガンインは14日に自身のSNSでこの件について謝罪したが、自身がソン・フンミンの顔を殴ったという報道は「事実と異なる」として反論。イ・ガンインの弁護士が声明を発表した。

「メディア報道の事実とは異なる内容が、まるで事実であるかのように拡散されている。事実ではない内容について、正そうとしている」

「ソン・フンミンがイ・ガンインの首筋を掴んだ時、イ・ガンインがソン・フンミンの顔に拳を振ったという内容は事実とは異なる」

「イ・ガンインが間違っていたことを深く悔いており、反省している。自分が紛争の中心にあったため、具体的な経緯を伝えるよりも正しいと思った」
