11日、カタールで行われるアジアカップ2023の組み合わせ抽選会が行われた。
今年6月に中国で開催予定だったアジアカップ2023。しかし、新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の感染拡大の影響もあり、2022年に開催断念が決定。新たな開催地がカタールに決まっていた。
その結果、開催時期が半年後ろ倒しとなり、2024年1月12日に開幕することが決定。4月にポット分けが行われた中、組み合わせ抽選会が行われた。
抽選会には元オーストラリア代表FWティム・ケイヒル氏や日本からは女性審判員でカタールW杯にもアテンドされた山下良美さんが着物姿で登場。さらに、元韓国代表MFパク・チソン氏らがドロワーとして参加した。
日本代表はグループDに入り、インドネシア代表、イラク代表、ベトナム代表と同居。王者のカタール代表は、グループAに入り、中国代表、タジキスタン代表、レバノン代表と対戦する。

豪州Aリーグは「熾烈さがない」 欧州クラブ歴15年の元オーストラリア代表FWアロイージ氏が嘆き「欧州移籍で問題に直面」

「まさに死闘ってカンジ」歴史に残るバーレーンとの4-3の激闘!2004年大会プレイバックに反響「このゴールで中澤佑二に惚れた」

「泣ける」「1番グッときた」ザルツブルクが南野拓実&ファン・ヒチャンの敗退にメッセージ「私達の誇り」
