UEFA女子チャンピオンズリーグ(UWCL)準々決勝1stレグの4試合が、21日から22日にかけて各地で行われた。

熊谷紗希を擁するバイエルン、南萌華を擁するローマと、なでしこジャパン選手所属のクラブも2チームが勝ち残っているUWCL。各4試合はいずれも1-0の接戦となった。

バイエルンはホームにアーセナルを迎え、39分に右クロスからドイツ女子代表FWレア・シュラーがヘディングで先制点を奪った。後半は守勢の時間が続く中で、先発フル出場を果たした熊谷もライン上でのスーパークリアを見せるなど、リードを死守。追加点のチャンスこそ決め切れなかったものの、1-0と2万人のサポーターの前で先勝した。

南が左サイドバックとして先発したローマは、女子最強ともうたわれるバルセロナとホームで対戦。スタディオ・オリンピコが女子の試合で初めて使用された。

前半から自陣での時間が続く難しい展開を強いられ、34分に失点。2022年にコスタリカで開催されたU-20女子ワールドカップ(W杯)の決勝、U-20日本代表戦でも2得点を挙げたバルセロナの19歳FWサルマ・パラジュエロにゴールを奪われた。

だが、後半はローマも速攻から度々絶好機を迎えるなど、イタリア女子サッカー史上最多となる3万9454人の大観衆の後押しを受けて奮闘。両GKの好守も光った一戦は、そのまま最少点差でバルセロナが逃げ切っている。

前回女王のリヨンは本拠地でチェルシーと相まみえたが、ショートカウンターからノルウェー女子代表FWグロ・ライテンに鮮やかなコントロールショットを流し込まれ、0-1で敗れた。

女子ブンデスリーガで首位を走るヴォルフスブルクは、パリ・サンジェルマン(PSG)とパルク・デ・プランスで激突。完全アウェイの中、オランダ女子代表DFドミニク・ヤンセンのPK弾で1-0と先勝した。

なお、2ndレグは29日から30日にかけて行われる。

バイエルンがなでしこジャパンの18歳MF谷川萌々子とプロ契約! まずはスウェーデンのローゼンゴードへレンタル移籍「すぐに決断しました」
