コウチーニョがカタール行きに前進、この移籍を最も喜ぶのはバルセロナ?

アストン・ビラのブラジル代表MFフィリペ・コウチーニョ(31)だが、カタールへの移籍が接近しているようだ。

リバプールで輝かしい成績を残したコウチーニョだが、2018年1月にバルセロナへ移籍するとキャリアが停滞。余剰戦力扱いとなるとバイエルンへと移籍。超高額な移籍金がネックとなりバルセロナに戻ると、2022年1月にアストン・ビラへレンタル移籍。2022年7月から完全移籍に切り替わった。

2022-23シーズンはアストン・ビラでプレミアリーグ20試合に出場し1ゴール。シーズン後半戦はメンバーに選ばれなくなり、ウナイ・エメリ監督の下では余剰戦力扱いとなった。

さらに今夏のプレシーズンマッチで負傷し、3〜4週間の離脱となっている中、移籍のオファーが舞い込んでいる。

移籍に精通するイタリア人ジャーナリストのファブリツィオ・ロマーノ氏によると、オファーを出しているのはカタールのアル・ドゥハイルとのこと。すでにコウチーニョとは合意しているとされており、残すはクラブ間合意とのことだ。

サウジアラビアのクラブが今夏の移籍市場では躍動し、大金を投じてヨーロッパから選手を獲得している。どれほどの移籍金を出すのかは不明だが、この移籍が決定すると喜ぶクラブが。それはバルセロナだ。

かつてコウチーニョが所属したバルセロナだが、将来の選手の売却時の移籍金50%を手にする条項を盛り込んでいた。

そのため、高額な移籍金で合意すれば、深刻な財政難に悩まされるクラブにとっては臨時収入を得ることに。今夏獲得したDFイニゴ・マルティネスやGKイニャキ・ペーニャはまだ選手登録できていないため、この収入で選手登録が可能となる。

さらに、マンチェスター・シティのポルトガル代表DFジョアン・カンセロの獲得も求めている状況。コウチーニョのカタール行きはバルセロナにとっても大歓迎という状況だ。
